  I didn't use but has a Jacuzzi and indoor pool. What is cool is it's within walking distance of a nice Mexican restaurant and I hop. Also a small shopping center. The TV has a nice position in the room. Only downside for me was in the bathroom the grout for the floor tiles is disappearing

  If I could give them a negative star I would. Front desk staff and manager need to get their facts straight before harassing a person with a service dog. On the hotel side it’s old and outdated rooms. The bed is very lumpy and uncomfortable. The breakfast was better than some other hotels.

  First off, my family and I came here to stay because we have to attend a family member's funeral. Initially, everything was great. A little dated, but I don't care about interior design much. It's a hotel. I've stayed in Super 8s and Motel 6s worse than this place, so the complaints about dated furniture are laughable from other reviewers here that are most likely out of towners. If you want fancy, go to Dallas or other popular areas in TX if you're vacationing from somewhere else. The mattress will kill your back though, so it's no fancy shmancy mattress. More like the old one your parents got in the 80s or 90s with zero support and its like sleeping on wooden particle board. I was raised here in Terrell, so I find this place homey. The pool and hottub are GREAT. A little loud due to it having to run and keep it heated since it's the wintertime, so talking is basically shouting in there. But my biggest complaint is in the bathroom. They've gone cheap by strapping the bottles to the wall. The reason why I find that cheap is because I am short and the way they have it on the wall is just high enough to where it's eye level. I nearly squirted body wash into my eyes! Just provide tiny little bottles to people for use at this point! Definitely not disabled friendly because they wouldn't be able to easily access it. Even more so because the tile in our bathroom next to the tub is broken and shattering! How dangerous! This is room 602 by the way, so definitely don't get this room if you are staying with an elderly or disabled person due to the tile being broken and the bottles basically being inaccessible for those disabled people. They think we are animals that want to steal everything now and don't have the decency to just give us a bar of soap! I don't care how small the bar of soap is, just provide some for crying out loud! The desk staff was kind to us when we checked in. My father has been to this hotel a few times himself over the years, and it's better than some that we've been to but also pretty mediocre to some of the nicer ones. The pool can't compare, though. That has to be the best indoor pool in my opinion. The biggest perk of going there in January is that we had the pool all to ourselves in the evening. It was really relaxing, and the hottub was the perfect temperature. I can't say anything about the complimentary breakfast yet, so I'll update on that. I'm sure it'll be fine, as other reviews have said it was good. I will say that the Wafflehouse around here was pretty good if you want something to eat. I haven't been to that IHop in who knows how long, so I can't say anything about that. It's a little out of the way, but at least there's food options around here. I was born here, so it's just home away from my new home in AR. Thankfully we had no mold or humidity issues/bad smells in the hotel room like some people have complained about. No bugs either, so it seems like they've cracked down on that issue, which is great. This is NOT a pet friendly hotel, so unless you have a registered service dog, Fido can't come with you and you're better off looking elsewhere. Same for kitty cats. Definitely go here when it's the off season where kids aren't running around for the pool and a good night's sleep. It's pretty quiet here. Plenty of free pamphlets and info on what to do around here in TX as well.
