Room 217 had a malfunctioning drawer that wouldn't stay closed. There was leftover food and drink in the fridge. And I just found a toenail clipping on the floor! TV was streaming only, but with a good casting option. No coffee maker in the room. Bed was ok, soap smelled nice, checkin clerk was pleasant. Next time I'm in Temple, I'll go back to La Quinta across the highway. I've stayed there a couple of times. It's even less expensive! Also: always bring earplugs on road trips. The Interstate was LOUD.
