- MEMike Elliott6 days ago4.0Probably nicest hotel you’ll find in Sulphur Springs. Staff were friendly. Rooms were pretty good, just some cosmetic stuff which needed repair. However they were in process of remodeling. A little loud from outside noise as it close to interstate and main road. Maybe get a room on east side of building vs west side. Got to breakfast bar at 810am Saturday morning, it was wiped out! I got the last piece of sausage, :/, hard boiled eggs gone, waffle batter was weird and runny, muffins were hard, eggs runny and apples were old. At least we were able to fill our water bottles and grabbed a banana before off to hiking at Cooper Lake State Park.

I called several times to set the block up and was told I could only talk to the manager Jessica. I called multiple times after they told me when she’d be working, only to be told she actually wasn’t. Once I finally got a hold of her, setting the block up was simple. She also offered a king suite for us at the discounted rate which was great! A few weeks before our wedding, I called to confirm our room, as I never got a confirmation email, and I was on the phone with multiple different employees for around 45 minutes because they couldn’t find my reservation or block info. I asked to speak to Jessica… was told she wasn’t working, then was told to call back all over again. I called again, never actually got to speak to Jessica, but was told she forgot to book our room for us. We finally got our confirmation info. Night of our wedding comes around and we’re exhausted (they wouldn’t allow early check in) and our shower does not work, the front desk has to come help fix the issue, finally get in the shower and there’s no shampoo or conditioner! Save yourself the headache if you’re planning a wedding and find different accommodations for yourself and your guests!
