The Hilton Garden Inn South Padre Island hotel is located on the north side of the island, directly across from the South Padre Island convention and visitor bureau with 7000 square feet of conference and banquet space that can accommodate up to 690 people and the Birding & Nature Center. Our hotel can accommodate large and small conferences with breakout rooms and pre-function space.

Great Location and the staff works hard to provide great service to the guest but the owner has not reinvested in upgrades or general maintenance. The rooms are moldy and you will have to change rooms to find one that has only a slight stench of mold and mildew. I stayed there on 10/19/2025 and the hallways had not been vacuumed and the place is in disrepair outside of the nice lobby. I paid $200 for an oceanside room so not a 5 star place but the value we received was for a 2 star property. You will be better of paying around $250-300 for an American owned AirBnB.
