Why do hotels choose to have political "news" shows on the TVs in the common areas? It's an immediate turnoff when I see that as I check in or while eating breakfast. My room was fine, but common sense would go a long way.

Rooms were never cleaned. I had to ask for towels each night that we stayed. Trash was not taken out also. My family and I stayed for three nights.

Had a solid stay at the Holiday Inn—clean room, comfy bed, no drama. Only thing that tried to test my patience was the showerhead. That thing was spraying in about 50 different directions at once like it was fighting for its life. I felt like I was dodging water jets in a low-budget action movie. Fix that, and it’d be a full five stars.
