We had a wonderful experience thanks to Shivonne Samuels, the hotel’s assistant general manager. From the moment we arrived, she greeted us with genuine friendliness and made us feel welcome. She went above and beyond by arranging an early check‑in, which made our stay so much more comfortable. Throughout our visit, she remained professional, attentive, and consistently helpful. Her excellent service truly elevated our stay, and we’re grateful for the care she showed. Highly recommended! Mirkala Huffman

The “Queen of New Orleans” (Mrs Avis) greeted us with her wonderful southern hospitality! She was a delight and really fun to talk to. We will be back !

Unfortunately with a short notice trip there weren't any available meeting rooms. That didn't matter, they understood our delima and from the catering manager, to Hugo at the front desk, Josh our server during the meeting - it all went off without a hitch...I'd say more smooth than other meetings where we've had plenty of notice with reservations in advance. The entire staff from top to bottom here were excellent. Big shout out to the team for making the coordination of this meeting with very little stress. When we're back in Houston we'll definitely be staying here again.
- KMKay MillerDec 14, 20252.0The outlet for your phone, computer, etc did not work. We stayed here for 5 days and requested it to be repaired every day, including in writing. I was told by the receptionist that the first day I left the sleeping sign on the door. However, I did not the other 4 days. I travel with pets so everyday I had to leave because the outlet did not work and I needed it for work and they won’t work in your room if you have pets in there. On the last day they offered me a new room. Not sure why they thought I would move to another room on a Sunday afternoon when check out is Monday morning? Also, I did find the front rude. One lady had no idea what she was doing, the gentleman was nice bit there was one that was there moat of the time and if I never see her again that would be okay. Lastly, they don’t keep the grounds clean. When I walked my pets i had to come back and clean my shoes! Totally disgusting. I would not stay here again.
