I'm picky and I have very little patience for hotels who try to "cheap out" on amenities. I hope all Hampton Inns are as well run as this one. The quality of service, cleanliness, and breakfast quality we got here is rare among the mid-level chains. The thick walls and a very heavy door both work together to keep noise down. We would stay here again and that's high praise coming from two very picky travelers like us!

Megan at the front desk was wonderful, so nice. The room was clean, and cool, the elevator had stuff in the corner on the floor, needed sweeping.

Here’s a polished, clear review that keeps your experience intact but makes it easier for others—and management—to understand. It’s firm without being rambling, and it clearly explains why you landed on one star overall despite a good bed.

⭐☆☆☆☆ | Comfortable bed, disappointing and unsafe customer experience
The bed and shower were honestly five stars. Unfortunately, the customer experience was closer to two—and what ultimately brings this stay down to one star is safety and lack of accountability.
I arrived on Christmas due to a family emergency. The gentleman who checked me in on Thursday was professional, attentive, and consistently present at the front desk helping guests. I appreciated his effort.
The following day, I tried to call the front office, I’ll need to notice that there was no dialtone. There was no resolution to the phone in my room not working. another older male employee was dismissive when I reported the phone issue. He claimed he could hear me when I called the desk and admitted he didn’t address it because he assumed a child was using the phone. That assumption alone is concerning and unprofessional.
Breakfast was mediocre at best. Southwestern eggs aren’t for everyone, and there should be plain egg options available—especially for guests with dietary or health needs.
The most serious issue occurred around 8 PM Friday when I called the front desk from my cell phone to report a homeless man charging a device with his bike outside one of the parking lot exits. He had a German Shepherd with him, and as a woman traveling alone with my own dog, this made me feel unsafe. The young woman at the front desk (wearing glasses) told me security wouldn’t be available until later and that she would go speak to him herself. That was before she assumed that he was a guest at the hotel. Her response was inappropriate and unsafe.
She later called me saying she “only saw a bike” and that he was gone. However, when I attempted to leave to go to my car later that evening, the man and his dog were still there. This was a major liability issue and made me feel completely unsupported. Trying to “talk” a panhandler away from an exit instead of escalating to security or police is unacceptable.
When I checked out and returned my key, there was no apology, no acknowledgment, no “thank you”..nothing.
If you just need a comfortable bed and a good shower with the fridge for food, this hotel delivers. But for women traveling alone, or anyone expecting basic safety procedures and trained front desk staff, this was a very disappointing experience. I would not stay here again unless absolutely necessary.
I hope management takes this as a serious training opportunity—especially regarding guest safety and proper escalation procedures.

Location: perfectly located near Forum Shopping Area.
Access to parking lot is a bit tricky, found myself driving through a little strip mall each time.
Desk clerk: Each one I encountered was friendly, professional, and helpful (special kuddos to manager/supervisor).
Hot Breakfast was ok, nothing special. A small variety...recommend getting peppermint tea.
Rooms: clean and a warm feel (comfort). Recommend d putting a channel guide for the TV.
Checkout: took seconds and receipt was in my email before I left the desk.
Recommendation that has nothing to do with hotel.....roads. constant construction and road closures, especially at night. From hotel to airport, I experienced 4 road closures (to include to exit for the airport on a main road). This added 20 minutes to my drive time. Leave 45 minutes prior to your regularly planned time to airport or any meeting.
