Staff was friendly, room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We loved the freshly brewed coffee. A big thanks to Mona at the front desk who found us a room to check in early to after a long drive.
- ISImani SDec 13, 20255.0One of the better hotels in San Marcos. I checked in here for one night arrived around 10 PM and the check-in process was very smooth. Grayson at the front desk was a pleasure and even helped with providing a late check out since I had been checking in so late into the night. Room was clean very spacious provided a kitchenette was comfortable no complaints. They even have free coffee at the hotel store. The only thing that I was not super fond of, I stayed in room 207 near the elevator so I could hear everyone coming in and out, especially around checkout time, but it wasn’t unbearable . Would recommend staying here if visiting and need a place to lay your head.

They greeted me immediately and as soon as I said I had a reservation they knew exactly who I was. I was very impressed! The rooms were clean and cozy. No complaints at all. In the morning the same thing happened. It’s as if they knew I was coming down and they checked me out. Very friendly staff and wished us well. Thank you Candlewood! We will continue to stay here!
