    This was one of the most disturbing hotel experiences I’ve ever had. We checked in around 9:00 PM through Priceline, received our keys for Room 424, and everything seemed normal. But around 1:00 AM, someone tried to open our room door and started banging loudly. A few minutes later, another person came back knocking aggressively and asking for our ID and name from outside the door — without even properly identifying themselves. We were understandably scared and called the front desk, only to be told by the night shift employee that they “couldn’t find our name in the system” and that the room was supposed to be empty. Instead of handling this calmly, he said he would come back again if he didn’t find our information — which made the situation even more uncomfortable. To avoid further disturbance, I had to go down to the front desk in the middle of the night, where I was kept waiting for about 20 minutes while they struggled to locate my booking — even after I provided my ID and confirmation details. Eventually, they realized the issue came from poor communication between shifts and that they had mistakenly reassigned our room to another guest. At no point did anyone apologize properly, show concern for our safety, or offer to involve a manager. Being woken up by strangers trying to enter your room at 1 AM is not just inconvenient — it’s frightening. This experience showed a complete lack of professionalism, communication, and basic guest safety. I would strongly reconsider staying here.

    I’m extremely upset with how this was handled. I booked two rooms back in early March at Holiday Inn Express in San Antonio (102 Spencer Lane), and my reservation was canceled on the SAME DAY I was supposed to check in (April 10). I received a cancellation notification with no real explanation and no prior warning, leaving me scrambling at the last minute to find another place to stay. This completely disrupted my plans and caused unnecessary stress. When customers book weeks in advance, especially for multiple rooms, there should be some level of reliability and accountability. Canceling a confirmed reservation the day of check-in is completely unacceptable and shows a lack of professionalism. At the very least, there should have been communication, options, or assistance in rebooking elsewhere. Instead, I was left on my own. I would not trust this location with future reservations and would strongly caution others to have a backup plan if booking here.

    Hotel is showing major signs of wear. It needs a remodel in a major way. I'm a loyal IHG property lover and I'm extremely disappointed in this location. First time staying here and the pictures on the IHG app had to have been AI mockups. I really do not like leaving negative reviews, especially for a hotel brand I have great respect for, but if someone doesn't say anything then no one will know.

    Was very disappointed with this hotel, very dirty we stayed 2 nights and wanted to get a refund as soon as we checked in but we did it through a 3rd party and wasnt refundable. Our rooms door wouldnt even lock and nothing was done. The whole building is outdated and dirty for sure.

    DO NOT STAY HERE. You charge us $25 a day for breakfast that you had up only until 9am and when we asked for more the worker lady their said no and shut the door. We go outside theres trash bags outside of the back door that will cause roaches and mice. There was vomit by the ice machine that didn't get cleaned until the next day. There were countless stains all throughout the room we stayed in stains on the pull out coach. We asked the house keeping lady for new towels and she replied she doesn't speak English and couldn't help us. This was overall a horrible experience I dont want a sorry or an apology from the Owner because obviously this has been going on for months. I hate I didnt read the reviews before booking here for my family's vacation. I hope yall get this place together sooner than later and a refund would be in order to everyone who stays here.
