I was pretty disappointed for this being an IHG hotel. We won’t come back to stay again. I’ll break down the experience. ARRIVAL- There was no one at the front when we arrived to check-in, when someone walked up she had a hoodie and a backpack on, said, “Oh you checking-in? My bad.” She asked for my name and cc, while opening up a stack of room cards, it was odd and unprofessional, not welcoming at all. Felt like we were being scammed or something, super sketchy. COST- We paid @$1700 for 4 nights, walking in the halls gave off a dirty motel feeling. PARKING- We had to pay the ridiculous parking fees then walk across the street to the parking area, the front is too small to off-load your vehicle if you have bags from shopping so you will walk w/bags from the parking lot across the street, ROOM- Subpar, gnats in the shower, not very clean, small, bed was comfy⭐️, room was just very basic PATIO NOT BALCONY- I thought we were going to be able to enjoy the Riverwalk view while I drink my morning coffee, (didn’t happen), but the “balcony” per the IHG app was instead a first floor patio that was 5 steps from where other guests sit on the hotel patio so no privacy to sit and enjoy with my spouse without an audience, the grass by the patio was where people take their dogs to potty, but was blocked off (kinda glad so I didn’t have to see and smell dog poop when I walked out on the patio) but blocked off bc of glass d/t someone on one of the top floors busting out the window (2weeks ago per staff) POOL- can only hold @4 people and @2 people to layout in the sun, so if you aren’t first you won’t fit, LOCATION- wasn’t bad if you are okay with being on the quiet end of the Riverwalk and having to walk 6-ish + blocks to the restaurants and shops. Be careful of the steps going down to the Riverwalk, they are steep, the walk is narrow along the river, and there were homeless along the way…..use your imagination with what they were doing. In the 6 years I’ve stayed at IHG hotels this was one of the more expensive stays and not worth the money honestly in my opinion.

Overpriced. Not recommended. Everyone at the hotel is nice. But for $325/nigbt the room was dirty with gnats flying around. There was hair clearly visible inside the shower, in the chair and on the bed. We left for the day to a waterpark and at 11:17 I asked for housekeeping to address this. We returned at 6:30 to the same room we left. I went to the front desk to discuss and at least ask for clean towels because everyone was wet and tired and needed to shower before leaving for dinner. I was told someone would bring them up. That took another 45 minutes. So we canceled our dinner plans and just ordered door dash. Then I spent another hour on the phone with guest relations. Since they could not make contact with a manager I was told there would be a resolution and I requested to cancel my following nights reservation by the end of the day. Well that never happened crickets. However as a response at 8:30pm housekeeping shows up to clean the room. By then everyone was showered, disgusted and just ready for bed since our evening plans were ruined. There’s no complimentary breakfast like I see at most IHG properties. I paid $3.25 for a cup of orange juice. At the time of me writing this review I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM GUEST RELATIONS REGARDING A RESOLUTION. I was told I hear back by end of the day. So I’m checking out early to find a better property which actually cost less than this room. I’ve always had great experiences at Hotel Indigos. I’m extremely disappointed after being charged $1000 for 3 nights.

Stayed recently and booked through Booking. Very disappointed as the pictures of the rooms were not what we got at all. Our premium rooms had no views and the windows were blurred and did not open. When I complained at the reception they told me that it was Bookings fault but the reality is that their sight has the same pictures Booking has. For me this hotel is deceiving with the pictures. These rooms should have different pricing. The other thing I didn't like was the entrance of the hotel which feels not clean and not well maintainedand decorated. Further more there is a smell of cooked food. Last location is not optimal because it's on riverwalk but 10 to 15 minutes walk from center which is not good especially when everything closes down early and you don't feel comfortable walking. Would not recommend this hotel.

Wow! We had an awesome stay! Booked the hotel close to the Tobin center for a concert. Excellent location! Could not have stayed closer. Just a walk out the back door & across a bridge. Great lighting & many concert attendees stayed here & walked to & from the venue. Felt safe. When we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff, quick easy check in, parking across the street. Slight Peking discount for IGH hotel members. Worth signing up for! We visited the bar & had great service on the patio. Bar tender was super friendly & beverages were great! Room was clean. Equipped with a mini fridge, wet bar & coffee. Beds & bedding were super comfy! We had our small dog with us & she was welcomed. The hotel is pet friendly with a water bowl at the front desk, potty area & potty bags off the back patio. Pet friendly is a must for us. The hotel was clean, pool area & patio was nice. There is direct access to the river walk out the back patio . Keep in mind it’s a few blocks walk to the main riverwalk area but certainly easy access & nicely located for those who want to retreat to a slower, less crowded area. Overall I give it 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ & highly recommend it! Don’t forget to eat at Mi Tierras Mexican Bakery & walk around market square, visit the Alamo or Tower of Americas! San Antonio is full of fun places!

First of all the room was spacious the balcony was beautiful but I think I picked the wrong room, I wanted the balcony facing the Riverwalk I guess I didn't read the descriptions correctly I got the room with the balcony facing the buildings.. and the room that we had for some reason when we turned on the AC it gave out an ugly smell like wet towels my kids couldn't stand it.. and the valet parking play seriously expensive $55 a night I just paid it one night and the other nights I just parked around the corner that's crazy! I wouldn't recommend staying there anymore next time I will look for another hotel and this time I will read the description correctly!!
