Have to start with a highlight that deserves five stars and that is the restaurant attendant- Savi. She was phenomenal and worked so hard to take care of each and every guest. I would hire her to work with me in about heartbeat and this company is lucky to have her.
Overall this hotel was… fine. They are working to renovate and make updates but it meant that the 2nd floor was being painting during our stay and things smelled of paint fumes. One elevator was broken the whole weekend and the other was incredibly slow. The hallways were extremely warm on the 4th floor- felt like the heat was on although it was 85 outside.
The staff were all lovely and working really hard. But honestly- I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

The elevator malfunction was not ideal, and navigating the stairs by room 239 to level 1 was inconvenient. Additionally, finding the fire exit locked poses a potential fire hazard and may result in a door needs be be opened during all business hours that’s how people get trapped in a building during a fire with damaged elevator first floor door locked doesn’t even have a handle

The hotel is undergoing a lot of renovations. That makes some of the experience less than great.
The bed and linens are new and were to die for. The bathroom was newly renovated and on its way to being fresh. They were missing their soap dispensers both next to the sink and in the shower. They were giving out the personal sized soaps and shampoos. The refrigerator was old and couldn't keep a drink cold if it tried. The T.V. remote is brand new and you will scream trying to figure it out. Once you do though.... look out!
The part that got me was having to pay for breakfast. $12.95 if my memory serves me correctly. The kitchen and wait staff are really friendly and make the experience worth the $$. The food is meh. I could swear I get the same at another hotel brand for free (included in nightly price).
The location is super convenient to all the north side haunts, plus it's off the beaten path so you don't javelin to worry about "bato's" breaking into your vehicle.
I'll be back to update this review once they have completed their reno. Nice digs for the price.

Breakfast staff Savi Blake and Gisela were fantastic. Real food prepared fresh and a fruit bar that beats any hotel I’ve seen. I don’t leave reviews often but these girls deserve it. Nice as can be.

Pool was not heated....at all. My little boy was disappointed. Location not the best. If you're not looking for it, you'll drive right by.
