The only downside is they are currently renovating so the parking lot is an eye sore, but once its completed I think it would be a nice upgrade. I would stay again.

I urgently needed a room the day after Christmas as I was extending my stay for a day in San Antonio and I was having no luck , there were no rooms available at the time and just when I was leaving and driving away Ms Mary ran and flagged me down and said she found a room. Omg my family and I were soooo happy!! 😊 The rooms were very nice and clean, breakfast was great and the location was convenient.

Don't count on it...The holiday inn staff take it upon themselves to open and close the doors of these huge metallic shipping containers (parked right outside your window)....at 7am.... on a Saturday. Unless you like your neighbor waking you up at 7am on a Saturday with 3 gas powered lawn mowers... stay somewhere else.
