- STS TNov 4, 20252.0Sorry to say, but I came to this area at night and it looked like a beat up town in Baltimore and the top that off with staff that was not very accommodating would be the proper word to use as a member of the club. This has been the first time of so many years that I was denied late checkout all I kept getting was it it’s on our webpage it’s 11 AM and they wouldn’t even budge. They wouldn’t even talk about it which is fine. You know that’s the rules but I mean supposedly wouldn’t you’re the member I’ve had places since I’m a member even 2 PM checkout time. I just did not feel very welcome there put it that way and if you don’t feel welcome, then does not want to make you come back. Rooms were OK. AC did not really work. It worked as it wanted so it got pretty cold that night. Needless to say place is not recommended and I will not be coming back.

The hotel is currently undergoing renovation and the shipping containers take up a good amount of the parking spots. Upon check-in, we were greeted by Mary, who is wonderful. She is very easy to talk to and is very knowledgeable about San Antonio. The one downside for us is our room was on the first floor right next to East Commerce St, which is very busy and noisy. Other than that, we had a great experience here.

Her lack of communication skills contributed to a tense interaction with another guest in the lobby—an exchange that escalated unnecessarily and occurred directly in front of my children. Rather than diffusing the situation, Mary’s tone and attitude only made things worse, revealing a lack of basic customer service and conflict resolution training.
- TSTrisha SOct 7, 20255.0Stayed here and every employee we ran into was sooooo amazing. The director of sales came out as we were in line to check in and she gave us a little run down of the riverwalk. Ashley at the front desk was great and Marco/Marcus the night NA guy were all so fabulous and even the hskping manager Brittany. Our fan wouldn't stop running the first night we got there and the room felt musty and sticky but when we advised them the next morning Brittany made sure to get it taken care of by the time we came back from our concert. Which was so great to come back to. Marie/Maria from the front desk was rude when I called to check in on my reservations I kind of had to tell her her attitude for first thing in the AM was not it she did end up apologizing and I was hoping to meet her when we got in but she was never at the front desk. Which is totally fine because Ashley, Marco & Brittany were so generous and amazing i thank them 3 for such an amazing stay. We will be back here if we ever go to SA again.
