Dirty in the elevator, dirty in the hallway, hair in the bathtub, store was broken, facing the highway, it was noisy.
Breakfast, we have to request to the woman for orange juice, and coffee and pancakes mix...

Should not be allowed to use the chains name...I travel for work full time and always use holiday inn for my stays and this location was the worst...from the very beginning I pull up and it was a gated location with keypad to enter..im assuming from the abundance of homeless people all over the area but I get in and the parking lot looked as if it had been struck by a couple meteors in a few places...I booked with a discount 3rd party as I rarely have any issues because it saves me money but it makes being refunded for a booking impossible or I would have canceled my booking before proceeding...being said im locked in the booking and when checking in I go to pay my incidentals deposit and the lady at front desk is on the phone with manager and explaining to her that although I live 55 miles away from location and working in the area my incidental deposit will be 250.00 cash...never experienced this before with a hotel but like I said I couldn't cancel booking or I would have left right then...so I pay the deposit as insulted as I was...I can see the reasoning behind the policy especially the way the area looked but that should still be discretionary as I doubt I came off as a homeless local although that was how I was treated...so get room and when enter first thing i notice is no sitting furniture, just a big empty space in room so I ask if I can change to a room with a sitting chair and after inspecting a few the was no rooms that seemed to have one...so I go back to room and notice dried blood on the walls in the restroom...get some rest then I am awaken to the loud slams of a door by housekeeping over and over...so I get up and go to breakfast and it was a fraction of the level of the chains other locations...if your expecting the usual quality experience from holiday inn brand might consider different location if in San antonio

Needed a hotel, we were attending a concert at the Alamo Dome. The hotel is gated so we felt pretty safe staying. Rooms are decent, not a lot of noise. The real star of the hotel is Thomas, the front desk attendant. Making small talk we told him why we were there and he suggested that we do the park and ride a mile down the street. Best advice ever! He saved us from traffic and parking fees. We were so grateful for his advice we decided to ask about restaurants and he did not disappoint! We've tried 2 of the restaurants which were excellent. We'll have to come back to try the 3rd next time. We're looking forward to it!

Broken elevator.
Doors are not properly balanced, slam shut. All night you hear are doors slamming from guest (kids.) In and out constantly.
Refrigerator slightly noisy and bang up.
Cracked tub.
Large trash bags left in front of ice maker.
The best for last.
Canceled our prepaid room, so we had to pay again. Now wait to get a refund.
Overall not the best experience.

This hotel offers amazing customer service. I had to book an emergency stay due to a coolant leak at my apartment they were extremely patient and understanding as I was going back and forth between my home to find out how long I was going to have to stay out and getting an insurance claim filed. Very kind staff. Dealing with an extremely difficult situation they made getting into the hotel and stay adjustments super easy. Their kindness and efficiency definitely helped during a stressful situation.
