- BJBarbara JaureguiDec 27, 20254.0Within the span of one month, I had the opportunity to stay at three different Holiday Inn hotels, which gives me a good basis for comparison. On the positive side, the breakfast is very complete and definitely worth the price difference since it is already included. I would especially like to highlight the quality of the coffee and the kindness of the staff — even about five minutes before closing, they kindly let you know so you can take whatever you still need. The hotel also appears to have been recently renovated, as the furniture is in good condition and not worn out. The location is another strong point, being very close to the airport and also to North Star Mall. Additionally, the parking is a plus, as it is controlled with a gate and limited exclusively to guests. On the negative side, cleanliness was noticeably below the standard of the other two Holiday Inn hotels I stayed at. The first day the room was very clean, but during the rest of the stay, housekeeping only made the bed. Toiletries such as body lotion and shampoo were not refilled, and it was clear that the room was not swept or vacuumed. When I asked about the cleaning service, I was told that they were not sure whether daily cleaning was included. In addition, the bathroom extractor fan was not working, nor was the shower. Overall, I believe this hotel offers good value for money; however, these details are important to consider, especially when comparing it with other Holiday Inn properties.

Rooms are exceptionally clean, bed very comfortable and breakfast hit the spot. The hotel’s shuttle was a wonderful way to explore the mile radius around the hotel including restaurants, North Star Mall (5 stars) and of course the airport. I’ll never stay anyplace else in San Antonio again!

The staff was great, the room and facility were great, breakfast was excellent, they had happy hour with free snacks and drinks in the evening. It was all as perfect as it could possibly have been, and all for a reasonable price. Well done!
