  Traveling with my son and his family, I was a bit worried when I saw some of the previous reviews, thankfully I did see 2 of the last reviews that explained the hotel is remodeling. I can confirm the remodeling is really good, I had 2 rooms, 1 and 2 beds. I only took pictures of the 1 bed but everything was great. Hotel is super clean, everything is brand new, like even some of the TV's have the wrap on, i fought hard not to peel the plastic from them :). The staff is super friendly and the location is great. It is a super busy road. I was traveling to complete a move to Fort Sam Houston. The hotel is 10 minutes tops to post. Lots of restaurants and other retail around.

  Newly remolded very clean. Owner was extremely polite and very friendly staff included. Will stay again for sure.

  I came here on a short 4 day stay. I was made aware of renovations and they were not disturbing or in the way (although light construction was visible) the kitchenette was a nice perk and the staff said utensils would be available for request in the near future. Located right off the freeway made commute very easy! Room was spacious and provided a home comfort and the Polly at the front desk made it even more hospitable. If I'm back in the SATX area I would definitely stay here again.

  Hallways smelled horrible and dirty. Room was spacious but it was not clean at all. Bring your own toiletries as the ones provided are pretty useless. Also, they have a full kitchen, with stove and a full size fridge but nothing to go with it. No cutlery, plates, cups or anything to cook with. The TV had no remote and the front desk did not have any extras. Room was missing light bulbs and it was very dark. This room should have been at most $60 per night and not $115. They had no breakfast as they're under renovation. Would NOT stay here again. Only good thing I have to say about this place other than the room size was that the front desk staff was nice, otherwise, stay away.

  STAY AWAYThis place is awfull! I have mold in the ceiling, a soft spot in the bathroom floor, stains of unknown origin on the lamp shade of all things, the walls are filthy, tthere is no phone in the room, the advertized breakfast does not exist in any way, they don't even bother to put out coffee in the lobby. The pool is padlocks, there were bags of garbage stacked up by the elevator this morning, the elevator was out of service randomly with no sign of any kind leaving us to wait 15 minutes before giving up. There is rarely anyone at the desk to hear complaints. Stay away! This is where you stay when you hit rock bottom not when you want a nice stay!
