- LLLanceDec 1, 20251.0My mom stayed here November 27th-November 28th. They charged her $204 for a pet fee when they told her she would be charged $100 for her ESA animal. This was all in recording. I called the hotel three times this morning after she made me aware they charged more than stated and they do not answer. We live in Northern Texas and I am willing to drive down there and speak to someone about this unfair, racial, and biased treatment. I have also contacted my attorney due to this issue as well as the ESA. Her bed sheets had pet hair on them, a faint blood stain on the bottom of the sheets, and the carpet was dirty. Yet, she got charged double what she would. Normally, I wouldn’t intervene but I feel they took advantage of my mom because she is a lady first and foremost. Also, a minority. I would like this hotel to fix this error and/or frivolous activity with her debit card. She called me when she checked in and showed me the room that seems was not cleaned properly prior to move in. The worker that banged on her door was also rude. My mom called the room an ashtray with a tinge of mold, which is detrimental to her health and is unacceptable. When she called me to complain about the room, I told her to make the best of it. However, had I known they would have double charged- I would have told her to request a credit or a room change. Hopefully this hotel can make it right. If not, let this be a lesson to anyone that decides to use this hotel. They will scam you and rip you off. For the area and run down structure this hotel has, $149 is highway robbery for one night. BEWARE!!!
