We were over charged $100 when we asked they said it was a 50 fee they charge that I will get back they couldn't explain the other $50. The AC didn't cool. On our second day we went out and when we got back to the room we found a cigarette on top of the dresser me nor my wife smoke much less our children. There were stains on the sheets as well Our experience was horrible would not recommend this hotel at all

- RSRick SDec 27, 20251.0This is a very old hotel in a dark part of town. The rooms are old and noisy, beds lumpy. Cars park right outside your window if you are on left side. Breakfast area was a chaotic mess, is too small to host the number of guests so it is very uncomfortable. The breakfast itself was about 2*/5, not anything that would stand out as memorable. Shower above us sounded like a chainsaw. Our shower had rotted ceiling above. Small things in room broken or missing. Hot tub was out of order, probably for the best as it looked a bit iffy. How can this be rated 4 star?
- SSSalDec 13, 20254.0We had a great time here. Breakfast was good, Texas shaped waffles were fun. Room was clean and cozy, a bit dinky, bathroom door didn't lock, handle was a little janky. The lights also flickered when you turned them off and there was a hole in the carpet. Location is pretty good, very close and convenient to downtown. A little seedy though, someone was definitely smoking weed in the hallway on our floor. We were happy and comfortable and would consider this hotel if staying in San Antonio again.
