    Smells clean when you walk in building. Room nice and clean, relaxing. Bathroom though clean smells like mildew. Decided not to bring shower gel cause othe places have them, here just a bar of soap.... oh well.

    The rooms were extremely dirty. They had all types of hairs in the bathrooms and the toilets had dried pee stains running down them. And that wasn’t even the worst part. The guy at the front desk who claimed to be the manager motioned as if he were reaching for a firearm when my partner went to talk to him about how dirty the rooms were. We left immediately. Something felt off from the moment we were checking in.

    I was so disappointed this morning after about 1 hour checking out to this hotel. We checked out -around 10am. We are about to enjoy this vacation and at that time my kids is enjoying playing at rivercenter mall then the someone called me. She is verifying my reservations. I said, we just checked out. She said I have another reservation for March 14-19 that I booked last Feb 20, I was totally shocked, stressed out because I said I don’t book anything. We just stayed last night for 1 night. I asked her how does it happen, and she said, she doesn’t know. She even became sound rude already when I said I didn’t book anything and if possible how can she helped me because I don’t know if I was scammed or what. I want to talked to manager, but she said she is the manager, I even told her maybe that is last year because we also stayed in that hotel as we love the treatment of their staff we came back again but she insisted that is this year. I said for 2026? maybe 2025? She insisted and said it is for this year 2026 and I have all your information here, address, Phone number etc which sound uncomfortable as if leaving me no options of anything and will just acknowledge it. So I told her let me check my email for confirmation of the booking. She agreed and said to call her back after I verified it. When I checked my email I saw that what is she saying is our booking last year 2025. I called her immediately and she said, yes yes I saw it already. Its okay. I don’t even remember if she became apologetic to me since few minutes ago she keep insisting I booked another reservation. Its so disappointing because we always choose best western for their good staff even their rooms are not that clean and perfect but their price are okay. I even told to Deborah (front desk lady) that their hotel is our always choice when we come to San Antonio but I don’t think now since of what happened. Please next time when you approach your customers be more respectful and double and triple check the information you are telling them!

    Very disappointed with my experience here. Saw all the wonderful reviews and booked rooms here, but unfortunately the rooms were damp and dirty, sheets were soiled and torn, the window blinds were broken. They switched us to another room, and it was no different. The manager was not helpful, when asked about it simply said that he wasn’t housekeeping and wasn’t responsible for changing the sheets. Very disappointed with the service. Will never go here again.
