- IAIngenieros AmbientalesJan 31, 20262.0Poor Customer Service (Isolated Incident) Most of the staff was professional and courteous, and Veroniq (manager) demonstrated true Hilton-quality service attentive, respectful, and guest-focused. Unfortunately, my check-in around noon (1/21/206) was handled by a front desk attendant young lady (no name tag, would not provide her name) whose behavior fell below Hilton standards. During heavy rain and freezing temperatures, a guest parked a pickup truck at the main entrance for over 30 minutes and left it unattended, blocking access and forcing more than 20 guests, including elderly individuals, to walk through cold rain and sleet. When I asked for help, the same attendant responded that did my check in rudely and said this was acceptable because the driver was a Hilton Honors member showing poor judgment and a lack of empathy. This was not the time to be rude; during an ice-cold storm, guest safety and basic assistance should be the priority. I have been a Hilton Honors member for over 30 years and a former Hilton private membership owner. This experience is not what Hilton has accustomed me to. This issue appears limited to one employee, not the hotel or its management.

When I arrived this week, there were some power issues in Round Rock affecting the hotel. General Manager Veronique* was waiting downstairs to escort guests to their rooms and assure us that the power would be back on asap. Very professional staff working under her too. I like that she is always present downstairs interacting with guests. This will be my “home away from home” when I travel to Austin for work going forward.

Kay was great her customer service was great and she laughed at my jokes and complimentary Rolls-Royce and Bentley jokes. My room was nice and clean. I'd definitely recommend this hotel. 👍🏾
