I travel for a seminar, the place is ok, but if you compare the hotel with other hotels near is overpriced. I believe they should invest more in maintaining the room or upgrading. My shower handle broke in my hands. Good thing that the young lady in the counter was very helpful and found another room for me.

VERY Hard beds , and the 2nd floor rooms smelled awful. We stayed in two different rooms. We then learned 2nd floor was pet friendly and we moved to 4th floor. It was better but I wouldn't book here again. Also , we paid for a lake view and was put in a room where and you can hardly see lake. I was so disappointed with the rooms at this Hilton.

The kind of waterfront hotel with dated rooms, underappointed, nickel and diming fees for every little thing, yet, some of the highest prices in the market. Costs ratio to good and services provided is under average valuation. E.g., many minor details such as odd garbage can location/missing, minimum or lack of toiletries, no complimentary lobby coffee and tea station (or other included amenity as such), no in room microwave, etc. Yet, there is a Starbucks, high priced bar, pay for breakfast (high priced with no guest discount), pay for parking (not low priced, no guest discount, in a very large open parking lot), and off season, low volume overnight pricing for a room at least 50%-200% higher than comparables. This experience was a relatively extreme high price for being on a reservoir (brown water) near Dallas, with a low bourgeois value delivered.

I found that rooms I've stayed in on business at Holiday Inn Express have better features and are more spacious than this Hilton. This location is looking a little bit threadbare. Housekeeping does a great job but maintenance needs to be done around the entire property. It's understandable that the pool will have bugs because of the proximity to the lake, but clearly the filters aren't working. Also the volume and the musical selection aren't amenable to pool relaxation. The most attentive personnel on the property are in the Starbucks cafe. As long as you understand that you're just paying for the view then consider your decision informed. If you really want a good view and a top-notch staycation experience the Omni in fort Worth is a better choice. Caveat emptor.

ALL WAS GREAT EXCEPT 2 THINGS. FIRST OF ALL IS THAT I HAVE NEVER PAID FOR SELF PARKING IN MY LIFE AT A HOTEL. THAT IS VERY CONCERNING AND TELLS ME YOUR COMPANY DOES NOT THINK BEFORE THEY ACT ON DOING SOMETHING LIKE THAT, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU HAVE A CLIMB UP 2 LEVELS WHEN YOUR THE LAST ONES THERE. I'M 58 YEARS OLD AND HAULING MY LUGGAGE UP THERE WAS NOT EASY. SECOND WAS A BARTENDER GETTING PRETTY RUDE WITH A FRIEND OF MINE WHILE WE WERE AT THE BAR WEDNSDAY NIGHT. LUCKILY SOMEONE OVER HIM STEPPED IN AND CUT THE BARTENDER OFF. YOU MIGHT WANT TO LOOK INTO THAT. IF WE HAVE THE CONVENTION THERE AGAIN, I WON'T STAY THERE AND JUST ATTEND THE CONVENTION. FOR WHAT WE PAY FOR THE ROOMS, PAYING FOR PARKING WAS OVER THE TOP FOR ME.
