I'm glad i tried this Doubletree. I usually stay at the Hilton Richardson across the highway and wanted to see if this location was a good alternative. I arrived this past Saturday for an accessible room and was told I'd been upgraded to a better, non-accessible room. I declined the upgrade, as I needed the roll-in accessible shower I'd reserved. Fitz at the front desk stepped in and was like a duck swimming, calm and assuring above water, while peddling quickly to do his best to accommodate my original room-type. He informed me the hotel was overbooked for the night, but I wasnt worried, yet. I knew I was in good hands. We ended up with an accessible tub, not a roll in shower. I'm so happy that Fitz did his best to help and I know the overbooking wasnt his fault. I will say that the shower in room 1203 does not have a way to use the corded shower head. That makes for a bad shower experience for a tall person, when seated. Overall, I was most impressed with Fitz and his problem-solving, gracious nature. I'd likely give this location another chance and will call ahead of arrival to confirm my room-type can be honored.

This ain’t bad but whoever owns this place has spent zero money in making this a nice Doubletree. Staff is good just feel bad for the product they have to sell. If you like Kia and Hyundai this place is for you.
We had to stay here for a soccer tournament. Can’t imagine what tomorrow will be like at the breakfast buffet.
This is the worst doubletree I have ever stayed at! This place screams low budget. It’s a disgrace to the Hilton brand.

I’d give it less than a star if I could. Where do I start…. Staff sucked, phone never worked ever unless they called your room. Not the place to go if disabled or expect any kind of room service. Doesn’t exist. Huge cockroaches in my room where I was then told to let them know if I see them again…… but then was granted a different room same floor. Okay? Moved rooms to find out the next day the fridge stopped working in the middle of the night… over $100 worth of food just gone. No compensation for anything. I noticed several elevators break down during my three day stay. On top of that I asked for help downstairs and they promptly told me after a maintenance issue causing me to miss my bus entirely and have to spend money on another ticket just to get home.
I’d recommend motel 6 to this. Same service but no roaches at least as well as cheaper. Screw this hotel

Besides not every room having a microwave and them being tiny, Patel the owner is what’s wrong with this hotel! We checked out ahead of schedule today because of his greed! At one my husband and I were paying for three rooms at once(we’re in the middle of a move to Texas!) Yesterday evening he approached my husband in the parking lot and told him he would be charging him $10 a vehicle for parking(5 in total) my husband said it was fine! This morning we went to to extend our stay and noticed as soon as I unlocked my card to pay that $200 had been taken off the card from this hotel! I was shocked! I asked and found out that Patel had charged that for TWO DAYS of parking!!!!!! I was told by a manager named Fitz they charge $5 per spot and that they counted FIFTEEN SPOTS for 5 regular sized vehicles and a 20 foot car hauler and a 30 foot camper! I counted the spots too! It was 12! I said ok according to your own count and prices 15 spots for a night would only be $75! He said well we had to count the night before as well because we didn’t know! I said we didn’t know either or we wouldn’t have stayed here! I said even for two nights at the price you’re stating that’s only $150! Long story short he said he would refund the $50 back! The last time we checked out of this hotel my security deposit went right back on my card immediately! As of 730 tonight neither my $50 security deposit or my $50 refund are back on! We shall see if I have to call and let them know again! Take my advice and stay somewhere else! You can park for free at every other place we’ve stayed in the area! The rooms are bigger and you get your basic amenities!

My GF and I booked a room at this location but was locked out of our room due to the lock not working. The overnight security guard couldn't get it to open so they had to put us in another room until maintenance can come in the morning at 7am to fix the lock. The other room was fine, however, all our belongings were in the other room. We couldn't change to fresh clothes after we showered, couldn't brush our teeth, but more importantly, couldn't take our medicines. The next morning we had to tell the front desk twice to have maintenance to fix our door because we have to leave by 9am. The maintenance person finally broke the lock and let us in our room at 930am. We didn't get to leave until 10am. We were behind schedule on everything because of this. When I got home, I emailed the management team explaining the situation and that we should be refunded as I think that's the least they can do. Someone by the name of Anant Patel responded saying they would get back with me but never did. I followed up with Anant Patel and as of today, still nothing. It has been 2 weeks. Doubletree used to be a reputable chain of hotels, what happened?
