    I recently stayed at Best Western Refugio Inn and overall, my experience was okay. The highlight of the stay was definitely the hot breakfast, which was a nice touch to start the day. However, there were a few downsides worth mentioning. Firstly, the property does not have an elevator, so guests with heavy luggage should be prepared for that. I encountered some issues during check-in due to my booking through Expedia, but the staff was quite helpful and called to resolve the matter promptly. One concern I had was with housekeeping. They knocked on our door at 9 AM while we were still asleep. When I declined their service, the housekeeper unnecessarily informed me that check-out time was at 11 AM. I believe it would be more considerate for housekeeping to wait until at least 10:30 AM before knocking on doors. Overall, while the stay had its positives, I think some adjustments could enhance the guest experience.

    Super nice, friendly & helpful clerk who worked Friday and Saturday evening. Room was clean, it's on the highway but wasn't too noisy.

    The hotel was fine and the staff was friendly. I had even left a valuable sound machine that helps me sleep. They are shipping it back to me. I am grateful. Norma and her team are awesome.

    Amazing staff , clean rooms, good breakfast , great service - they were all very kind and friendly. We left a gold earring in the room and called 2 hours later to tell them and they got it and saved it for us when we returned 2 days later . That’s great customer service and honest . We definitely will stay here often .
