  My wife and I have been traveling back and forth from home on work trips to this hotel for 7+ weeks and were able to experience all of the staff members for an extended amount of time. The customer service at the desk is excellent and felt very accommodating from our first visit to our most recent. Mark the GM is extremely friendly and you would never guess that he’s the GM he’s professional, helpful, but also extremely friendly and sweet and willing to make any accommodations possible that he can. The rooms were always extremely clean each time which is something we weren’t used to when it comes to hotel stays. We’ve stayed in a king room on all 4 floors of this hotel and each room was extremely clean. I also got to meet some of the house maids who are also super sweet and super accommodating and even changed our beds sheets within 5 mins after our son had an accident in the bed Overall I would like to say this is the best hotel for the money in the Portland Texas area Also a heartfelt thank you to all of the staff that work tirelessly to provide the level of cleanliness, customer service, and overall experience that you get when staying at this hotel

  Awesome!!! Im a Diamond member with IHG and this has turned out to be my favorite Hotel. Clean, organized, and great customer service. Special thanks to the GM for making my parents 30th anniversary even more special!!! 💯💯💯

  The hotel is nice , the room is big enough for a family to stay. The bed is nice.the only problem the staff is not friendly and they look like having a bad everyday. We were stay for 5days in the hotel. I do not see the staff great the customer and smiling. No hospitality at all. And when we went for bfast in our third day staying there, the young lady bfast attended already start doing cleaning and close the kitchen by 8.20am. No refills to the bfast meals. Because she was busy doing cleaning inside the kitchen for closing. The only staff that really nice, there is a older white lady. She is so kind and always smiling and great the customers whenever we came down for bfast. She is such a sweet lady ❤️. And when I ask them to clean my room on four days, the guess service said I have to stay at least 7days of my stay. Which is not MAKE SENSE!! The staff need more training how to deal with customers. And the things make this hotel difference is they do have happy hours from 5.30pm-7.30pm they serve some food and non alcohol and alcohol drink For FREE. Overall the hotel is clean and very convenient.
