The AC/Heat in all hallways and common areas was broken and according to the staff had been that way for "months". The room smelled strongly of mold/mildew and was damp. The staff told me it was due to the area's climate (but I grew up here and other places and hotels do NOT feel or smell like this). All metal in the room including lamps, shower frames, hinges etc, were rusted. When the room got cold I tried switching over to the heat in the room, and it smelled so bad of ammonia (like urine) and burning that I got physically sick and had to open the door to air out the room even though I only left the unit on less than 10 seconds. Breakfast was not stocked and the area was dirty. Housekeeping only comes if you stay more than 5 days (whcih is not what the stickers etc in the rooms say). You have to take out your own trash, and take your dirty towels to the front desk to "exchange" for clean ones. The front desk staff was rude and didn't want to be bothered to help. Strongly do NOT receommend this hotel!

Checked in today and its been horrible there is an awful smell throughout the hotel they say due to some kind of fumes coming through so they have ventilation tubes running down every floor and they are blowing the pipes with water and bleach. Shower has rust marks everywhere, the carpet is wet, fans running in the hallways, not sure what the issue is, asked if it was mold and they said no and its just dirty and hoping whatever these fumes are dont get us sick. Also, checked in and the front desk kept my license never told me they had it until I came back to the front desk 3 hours later. No towels at the pool. Definitely not up to Hilton standards.

The front desk staff was friendly, but this hotel is in serious need of closure and renovation. There appears to be a significant mold issue. We checked in and checked out within 15 minutes after seeing the room and the overall condition of the property. The floor was very damp, the drawers were warped, and many fixtures showed water damage as well. . The smell of mildew was overwhelming. I’d recommend choosing another location if you’re looking for a place to stay. We typically love Home2 Suites, but this property needs major attention. Booking rooms with obvious damage is not okay. We would have planned another hotel if we had known.

First room they checked us into was still dirty from the previous guest. They moved us to a smaller room that stunk and could hear everything in the lobby. The overall condition of the hotel was pretty disgusting especiallyfor how new it is. We checked out and went to the Hampton down the road. The Hampton is excellent!
