- BKBrian KlintDec 27, 20251.0Rooms are decent, but wouldn’t want to stay there in a period where heating/cooling of the room is needed, as the HVAC is noisy. Breakfast is typical American, so that’s up to each preference. Staff is pleasant and welcoming. The local mananger however, is the opposite of pleasant and welcoming . I went from paying around 120 USD per night on average for a 7 days period, to a fixed rate of 242 USD for the following 14 nights. When asking at checkout what caused the +100% pricehike, the guy at the reception did not know and fetched his Manager, whom told me that the first booking was a cyber promotion, and the remaining was at the daily rate set by IHG, which will fluctuate depending on date and availability of rooms. I asked how come the daily rate is fixed at 242 USD, when I the first week paid a different price every night. Again I was told by the manager that this was not controlled by the hotel, but IHG, whom I should contact. I checked online, and saw that I could book a night through IHG for 144 USD the same day. I contacted IHG who told me that the price is set by the local hotel and NOT IHG, and that the could not do anything from their side. Pretty disappointing treatment toward a loyal IHG customer…

Very nice courteous And very much a people person Thank you, Linda for being a great person you are. Breakfast and dinner complementary food was good. They also have a menu at the bar that you can order food and it is also good. The bartender Pia is fun to talk to and a great bartender prices were good. Everybody that worked at that Holiday Inn has went over and beyond expectations. I was very happy with my stay At this location. Keep up the good work Linda and Pia even if you’re having a bad day, these two ladies can make you smile and turn your day around. The rooms were clean and tidy no bad remarks form me

My previous experiences with this hotel's staff weren't bad, but also weren't anything writing a review over. However my opinion changed thanks to the receptionist Linda. She knew I was having trouble with booking my room (using IHG), and she went out of her way to help and make me feel welcome. Even if she didn't have to.
