We spent almost exactly 3 months at this Staybridge on because of construction/repair to our home.
I can honestly say, I've never had a better long term experience at a hotel than this one. The women and men that work here are incredible, helpful, and keep the place running like a well oiled machine.
On behalf of my mother and myself, we are so grateful for choosing Staybridge Richardson/Plano as our temporary home away from home. I will, going forward recommend this for any person looking for a long term situation.
The room was pleasant (we chose an accessible room for my mother) and aside from the smoke alarm going off during my quesadilla escapades all the time, it was a great place to lay your head for many months.
The jacuzzi spa was really our only contention as it always (even after asking and seeing them attend to it), seemed to have that brown cloud of fungus floating in the bottom. A lot of people use it, so I think it's one appliance at the hotel that needs daily attention. We stopped using it after awhile because of that.
The pool was lovely, especially when heated to comfortable not too hot temps. I will always enjoy having the pool to myself to de-stress.
I'm vegan so I don't have much to offer about the buffet, only to say the staff was helpful, and awesome. It was always clean, and well kept. I did enjoy having access to veggies and the spring rolls during the happy hours. The only consideration I'd mention is a flip book of ingredients for those with sensitivities. I didn't want to bother the busy staff every time I wanted to know the ingredients to something. I imagine I'm not the first to stay there with dietary restrictions or allergies.
Also, having a QR code to a video link for the general style of stove top that was included with our room would make it ultra nice because I had to chase down a video on how to turn on that thing!
I'm really going to miss those smiling faces and that free coffee every morning.
One last thing. On one walk around the hotel I noticed that almost every truck or van parks backwards and tailgates over the curb which is an accessibility issue. It would be great, since this location services ATMOS training, to either tell them to tell their students to avoid this or have you ask them to make sure they're not blocking the side walk.
Thank you for making our stay amazing, Staybridge Staff.

By far, the worst Staybridge I have ever stayed in (and I have stayed in many). Not even worthy of keeping the Staybridge brand. We'll start with the rooms. Immediately when we walked in, our allergies went haywire. I looked at the filter in the A/C, since that's usually a sign. It was undersized and filthy. So, the filter isn't really accomplishing anything and hadn't been changed in what looked like ages. Trash cans in the room were all tiny and you couldn't fit anything in them. The bathroom tub wouldn't drain. Everytime we went to the pool, there were no towels. That also meant that the floors inside the lobby were soaked from people having to go back to their rooms soaking wet. The pool was not treated properly and was cloudy. Outside the window at the pool was a whole bunch of junk. Coffee was out during breakfast. Overall, the property was in poor shape.

Of the three Staybridge Suites we stayed at last week, this was by far the worst maintained. Here are my comments, in no particular order:
- Positive: The rooms were clean.
- The young man at the check-in desk was very friendly and professional.
- All the faucets, or their respective levers, were extremely loose and wobbly so that they could have come off at any moment. This was the case in both the kitchen and the bathroom.
- The handle on one of the kitchen cabinets had apparently come off at some point. It was then reattached at a significant angle. All other handles were straight, so it looked as if nobody really cared.
The breakfast experience was awful in all Staybridge Suites, so this part is identical to the other two reviews I wrote:
- It is absolutely beyond me how in this day and age, in a 3-star hotel, guests have to eat off of styrofoam plates and bowls and use plastic cutlery. California has banned the use of these over a year ago - for dreadful environmental impact and harmful substances that can be released into the body when hot food is placed on those plates. I found this totally appalling.
- Several guests think nothing of showing up in the breakfast area in their PJs. I mean - there is casual, and then there is too casual.
- By far the least well-maintained of the three. In fact, we rebooked rooms at the Staybridge Suites at Parkwood Blvd for our last night in the area. We simply did not want to stay at this Staybridge again, even though we had originally booked there.
NOTE: I originally posted this review and then their mgmnt replied that we did not stay there. However, we very much did. The Staybridge Suites on Silverglen in Plano, TX. So I am reposting my review.

Gym bike broken 6+ weeks,
Basketball hoop busted for longer,
Daily reminder to fill in the water bottle at the gym,
IHG Upgrade and Welcome gift policies not followed,
Need more customer friendly staff, who are focused on the guest instead of making things convenient for their own persona (multiple guests complaining)
Rooms missing silverware and other conveniences
All around subpar experience, would NOT recommend
