- LPLinda PrindivilleMar 25, 20261.0Cockroach infestation!!!! Stay away from room 211!!! There was even a dead cockroach between the sheets!!!! During our stay for a week we caught 36 cockroaches!!! By day 4 we had caught 21 cockroaches. Cleaning staff must have used old mop water to clean floors because there was food that we didn’t even eat on the floor after they “cleaned”. Even after our room was sprayed twice there were still very active cockroaches crawling around!!! Don’t believe me? Bring sticky glue traps/boards and you will see for yourself!!! The only good thing was the front desk staff. They were so courteous and did their best to help.

Just so others are aware, even if you are an IHG member a lot of the perks and expectations do not get recognized here at this location. For instance, the option to get best rate availability and deposit requirements do not apply. You do have to pay the deposit and you may possibly pay more than expected in the app. I also reached out to support with IHG and they confirmed this is the case. Hotels are individually owned and will make their own rules regardless what the brand is telling you. So really there is no membership perk and you may not be recognized by that specific hotel. You may even be better off, just using a third-party app where you can actually get perks through the app such as credit back. Upgrade availability. Free night. All of that is covered by the third-party. You do not have to worry about the hotel.
