There was exposed wiring under the AC in the room and finishes were not put up. Gaps between the fire sprinkler and ceiling in the bathroom exsited. However, the staff was welcoming and great. It’s a shame they were forced into the mess they didn’t create.

When you walk in, you immediately realize that the hotel is under construction, something they do not display on their website. And it’s not minor construction. I even saw a cricket near the elevator. The rooms themselves were nice and appeared recently renovated, but my biggest issue was the shower. The water was lukewarm at best and the pressure was maybe 15%. Imagine taking a cold shower with barely enough pressure to rinse the soap off your back. Completely unacceptable. I wasn’t part of the group who went down to the front desk to complain, but I heard the agent basically said, there is nothing they could do (“at least you have lukewarm water”) no gas should have to deal with cold showers while traveling. I never saw the manager on site, though I was only there for one night. Honestly, I’m just happy it was only one night.

I spoke to the General Manager Veronica to see if she could compensate me for part of the amenities that did not work on our room, TV, phone, smell of paint while eating continental breakfast, but she stated there was nothing she could do since we went through a third party vendor.
