- SRSarah RJan 2, 20261.0So I picked this place due to the reviews and the photos for the pool. I am also a best Western member (years) but I booked with Expedia this time for a better rate. I was thoroughly disappointed with the facility in general. We were not greeted by the girl at the front desk and instead of explaining what she wanted signatures for she just said initial and they required a 50$ incidental which had a linen charges (odd cuz it a bit outdated policy in my opinion) which when asked if it was a bloody nose or something she said absolutely they would charge... I said ok . I asked for sheets for the sofa bed due to that being why I got the room as well and she said she would bring them . I asked to the desk and she said my room. Others with me heard as well in fact I asked to double check I heard right and she said that people usually bring their own sheets...(um I don't know what to say to this) when I called down to ask she said she never said anything and I could come back down and get them. I was so uncomfortable after her attitude that we stayed in our room and I didn't take my kids to the pool. They have two other buildings then the main building and they are quite a bit away from the pool/hot tub and amenities. Our fridge was dirty with yellow water bottle left in it, the remote was disgusting and I was to frustrated with the rude behavior at the front desk and I didn't dare call to explain it to her. I had to ask about breakfast... They gave me a voucher thing and didn't explain . I have not had this before so I asked and she didn't say much other then sit down and our server would take it.. sat for 10-15 minutes and not a word was said people were eating and the server walked by a couple time. So we left... Never in my life have I been treated so unkindly at a best Western plus or regular for that matter I was expecting great customers care and I had to see her at night and next morning which I think made it a bit more frustrating ....I am genuinely so sad that for 170 buck I was so disappointed with the experience. When asked again was told one was not available. I stayed here many times never had this problem or any problem speaking to a manager. This place has gone down hill in the last couple of months.... Won't be staying here in the future.
