    Went for a wedding at a great nearby venue. Between wedding guests we had about 12 rooms. The rooms were clean, but most were not ready at check-in time. The pool was closed which was noted in our confirmation emails. The elevator shook a little. Between all 12 rooms there were two that requested a room change and were granted them. The first because the air conditioner didn’t work and the second because the shower didn’t work. There were a lot of little maintenance issues. The onsite washer and dryer were out of order. The vending machine for snacks worked but they had no drinks, including water. They did have milk available in the fridge in the breakfast area all day. The ice machines on some floors didn’t work. We stayed two days and on the first day the WiFi didn’t work but they fixed it the next morning. There were a couple of places missing shingles on the roof. The staff were kind and gave good customer service. They accommodated those that wanted to switch rooms, took “note” of the issues and promised to take care of it. On the second day, the manager did ask us for a list of things we found and said she had a maintenance man on campus that day to work on stuff. We did get a pretty great rate for these rooms because we used points to help pay for them. It seems more of a matter of not having a full time maintenance staff or person than anything and most things were minor. Some people did get great rooms where nothing big was wrong. For instance one room only had a broken alarm clock and we have phones for that anyway.

    When we checked in it seemed ok but during our stay we didn't have a working heater, tv,or phone. We asked for a room for disabled person but the shower head was broken and would not stay up without falling. The design of the shower was the best thing I can compliment them for because you don't see padded shower benches.

    Facility shows signs of wear and age, but overall it was acceptable. Service was average. Not rude or anything, but not overly hospitable either. Breakfast was ok. It was a very average hotel. Luckily there weren't any weird smells or it this review would have read much different. At the end of the day, I could have spent more elsewhere and possibly been better served, but that's uncertain. I wouldn't warn anyone against coming here. I would advise tempering of expectations.

    Not bad. Little pricey, clean, big. Definitely needs a better maintenance staff that knows how to put craftsmanship back into repairs. That part is a 0 out of 10. Ptac unit on high feels like low. They over fill the rooms with to much stuff. Something is in every corner. Kid friendly, we do have a service dog here. Breakfast is good. Definitely needs someone at the front desk at all times. Engaging with guests like our last hotel. I never saw anyone there at the desk . Feels like you don't care about the guests. No bugs. Definitely needs to add out a patio where people can sun tan . I'm here for another 3 months

    My last experience with a hotel in Pampa Tx was a disaster, so this time I choose the Holiday Inn Express and Suites, the room was clean, reasonable priced and good service!
