  I honestly wouldn’t even give this establishment one star but to write a review I have too! Oh where to start! Walking in floor is filthy floor was sticky! Check in was no better! Lady at front desk was rude and cold! She couldn’t even show me enough respect by greeting me or even eye contact! I could hear someone in the back being loud and crude very distasteful! When she came to front and walked by she smelled of cigarette! Sure enough she walked right out side and lit up! Now just got worse elevator didn’t work so had to use stairs! The stair well was dirty and dusty and smelled musty of dirty carpet! My room was in bad shape air condition didn’t work door looks to be falling off! Tv didn’t work but then worked for 15 min then stopped working again. So watch Netflix on my tablet thank god for my tablet. Bed was not comfortable and sheets were dirty and smelled of men’s cologne! Hair in shower and soap scum on shower doors and was tooth paste on side of sink! I wanted to leave,but stayed from long drive and exhausted from it! When morning came didn’t take shower just got my belongings to leave quick! The breakfast what a joke there was only cereal and oatmeal rotten hot yogurt so I just left! Will never stay again at a Avid! I do not recommend! Save yourself from this nightmare and book some place else!

  Great service, clean rooms and the front desk people are awesome. However, the elevators are currently out of service and it’s been like that for a days.

  Avid is basically the “get in, sleep, get out” hotel — and honestly, they lean into it. The rooms are small but clean, the décor is modern-ish, and everything feels very… efficient. Not cozy, not charming, just functional. Beds are decent, showers have good pressure, and the whole place is clearly designed for people who don’t plan on being in their room longer than necessary. Noise can be hit or miss depending on who your neighbors are, but that’s half the hotel industry anyway. The grab-and-go breakfast is fine if you like yogurt cups and packaged muffins, and the coffee tastes like it hasn’t emotionally processed anything since 2012. Staff is usually friendly, check-in is fast, and the price is fair — as long as you’re not expecting amenities you’ll never use. Bottom line: Clean, simple, and practical. Not fancy, not bad — just a straight-to-the-point hotel for when you need a place to crash without drama.
