Stayed here for a TXST graduation. If I could give 10 stars on service I would. They went above and beyond to make a 2 star stay feel 5 star. Room was clean, beds cozy, and breakfast was hot and delicious. Fresh ground coffee machine was perfect in the morning. Thank you Holiday Inn New Braunfels!

Would not recommend this hotel , unfortunately I did to a lot of people. Front desk management guy is ridiculous at this location , they are allowed to get drunk on the clock and have guests wait hours to check in. AND then continue to get away with it. SUPER unprofessional. This is a private owned location and unfortunately IHG was unpleased with the events occurring at this location. Do better , people come to stay at this location a lot for there to be an alcoholic at the front desk. Sorry not sorry.

Booked a room for one night since we had family staying with us through the Thanksgiving holiday and we were one bed short. The wife and I gave up our bed and decided to book a room at a local motel. Setlled on the Holiday Inn due to the recent positive online reviews.
I'm glad we did as we were mostly pleased with our experience. The front desk staff were all very nice and welcoming (wish I had asked for names to give them recognition in this review.) The room was clean and very roomy (had a king size bed on the 4th floor). It had a mini fridge, Kurig coffee maker and even a microwave. Didn't use them but it's a nice touch that many motels at this price point don't have. The bathroom was the real standout. It was large with an impressive shower set up. Rolling glass door (no flimsy shower curtain that let's water go everywhere), good water pressure and three dispensers with shampoo, conditioner and bath gel. You don't usually see this set up at a 2 star motel so that was impressive.
The hotel is kinda set out from the road so hard to see. The surroundings will not win any beauty prices but the hotal was quite and we could not hear any road noise in our room. It was a very quiet stay. The hot complimentary breakfast was nice as well. It actually had hot food (scramble eggs, sausages, biscuits and gravy) in addition to your usually Continental Breakfast fare.
Minor gripes were the remote control not working for the TV (you could change channels and change volume but could not pull up the guide so it was Russian roulette when it came to finding content) and the wallpaper and carpets were a bit old and dated. But these were just minor gripes that didn't really deter from the experience.
All in all, we were impressed. So much so we staid an extra night. Highly recommend.

From the moment we were welcomed by Guest Services Manager Bryan Soske upon arrival to the thoughtful farewell at check-out after an emotional weekend for my parent’s memorial service, our stay exceeded expectations. Bryan went out of his way to secure us a room on the upper floor, even accommodating my last-minute request, and assured us it had just been freshly cleaned. The level of customer service was outstanding—not only from Bryan but from every member of the staff. We were consistently greeted with a warm “Hello Mr. Yaeger” or “Hello Mrs. Yaeger,” making us feel like honored guests. Although the hotel itself is older, it was spotless, well-maintained, and pleasantly fragrant throughout. The breakfast buffet was another highlight, with delicious options presented beautifully; we especially enjoyed the egg white omelets, which were hot, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. While Holiday Inn has long been known for reliable service and cleanliness, not every location is managed with the same care. Holiday Inn Express & Suites New Braunfels by IHG stands out, run by highly trained professionals who clearly take pride in their work and genuinely care about their guests. This rare dedication left a lasting impression. As we departed, Bryan offered me a hug and a blessing, a gesture of kindness that meant so much during a difficult time. We are deeply grateful for such an enjoyable stay and look forward to returning whenever we are in the area. Keep up the excellent work!
