- MBMelissa BrazeauNov 8, 20253.0Really nice hotel in a fun area with restaurants nearby. We walked across the street to LaMision and were very happy with having it so close for a nice dinner. They could probably use a second person for the front desk as they have to be in two places at once but it is becoming standard for this to be a belt tightening if it’s not a very busy lobby. Two was always the minimum until Covid. The side door door Nob and lock was broken clean off and cold wind was coming through. I’ve never had a security lack at a nice hotel before and it wasn’t mentioned at the front desk. If I were traveling alone or with children I would have demanded my money back and went somewhere else. Room was clean except the toilet seat was left up which is also never been the case. Again the exterior door broken and leaving guests less secure than usual and the toilet were negative as was nobody at the front desk. I had to call the hotel to make enough sound for staff to know that I was there. But they were very nice just super busy with a loud air duct overhead making it hard to hear each other. Some maintenance issues for sure. Nice room, hotel needs better care and more staff.

The front desk has no customer service no friendliness there were always personal phones having full conversations with me right there in front of them. And what I would try to have a conversation with me they wouldn't even smile they were so cold both of the front desk that I dealt with. Fix that you have a lot of business people that go there you think after a long day they want to see a rude front desk.
