  My room, the hotel in general, and even the parking lot, were all clean. The only reason I'm giving the room 4 stars rather than 5 is because there's no closet! Just a line of hooks along the wall.

  I would not recommend this hotel. The air conditioning in my room didn’t work properly, and despite reporting no one made any effort to fix it. We was told we were gonna get an update on it upon arrival from being out all day but the 2nd shift person said she don’t know anything about a broken ac and couldn’t give us another room because she was booked. Sleeping in a hot, uncomfortable room ruined my stay. Very disappointing experience.

  I’ve stayed at many Avid hotels, this one seems to be old or not well maintained. The beds!!! Ugh - listen, people check into hotels to sleep, if they wanted a backache they could sleep in their car. I find it so ridiculous that these large chains can’t keep a decent bed in the rooms. Edges broken down, wherever you lie, is the hole you’ll be stuck in. Parking? Practically non existent. If you have a trailer or Big truck. Good luck. And the front desk won’t help, the I don’t know what to tell you is the response. I’ve never seen such a small parking lot for a hotel. Even for a car they only had 3 spaces left when I got there. Find another hotel. My best thought.

  When I arrived they tried to bill me for 4 days and I informed them that I was only staying one. I even showed them my receipt on my phone. They said they would take care of it. Guess what??? They billed me for 4 days. When I checked out they charged me the full room rate $200/night (which ironically only had 2 days on it so why am I charged for 4 days?). I showed them I was rewards member and the rate should be less. I again showed them my reservation confirmation which had the reduced $165/night rate and they said the manager would contact me. Guess what??? No phone call as of 4 days later. I also logged onto my rewards account I got the points for the lower cost but charged for the higher rate. This was my first experience with AVID hotels. I'll keep a list of all the IHG hotels so I know which ones to avoid. I got the typical email asking for your experience after a stay. I played along and filled out it out and demanded someone contact me. After that hotel stay i needed a good laugh and this email gave me one. Update 3/23/26: I had to contact IHG customer service again and again they were not very helpful. So I finally had to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor called the hotel and again the manager was unavailable and wouldn't be available for days which I had already gone through earlier. So they finally recommended that I contact my credit card company and dispute the charge. They said it's either that or you keep waiting. So that's what I did. I wonder if the owners of this hotel actually know how bad the manager really is? Probably not. I hate to give this hotel one star they don't deserve that star.
