  Had a wonderful stay here, and was made even more exceptional with the amazing staff!! Jeff & Nicole at the front desk went above & beyond to make sure our stay was nice, and really made a huge difference in my overall trip. After a bad experience at My Place Hotel, it was such a relief to stay here & have people that truly care about the guest experience. I will 100% stay here anytime I visit Lubbock in the future!

  They didn’t have handicap accessible room, I paid for due to some air conditioning issue. Wasn’t informed until day of stay. Was still charged full price of accessible room. The room phone did not work. The breakfast wasn’t great. We’ve stayed at many homewood suites in a few states and the breakfast was usually very good. The first morning the coffee was just brown water. The front desk help was very pleasant. Will look for a different place to stay in Lubbock. We go often due to medical needs.

  When we tried to enter the room the door handle was broken and had to be turned upwards. Then immediately I noticed a stench in the room. On the floor were two big wine stains. The sheets smelled like body odor and were not replaced nor cleaned. And finally, to my horror, there were blood stains on the the pullout bed. It looked like a murder scene. We got a refund, but the staff did not help us to find another room and made us look for one on our own after midnight. Never ever again. Stay away! Update: I've called the number from the owner below and still have not heard back from them 2 weeks later, 11/12/25.

  We only stayed here for a night since we were passing through to go back home to Colorado but everything suited our needs! The property definitely seems to be a bit older but the room was clean so no complaints there. Breakfast was pretty good and the coffee was really good. The lady tending the breakfast area (did not catch her name unfortunately was still groggy from a 10+ hour drive) was so kind and wonderful! There was an issue with the waffle machine that she and what looked to be maintenance tried to fix for us but unfortunately they weren't able to fix it. I definitely appreciate the care they put into trying to help us!

  We had an active reservation and already had our digital key on our phones when we arrived. However, the general manager — I believe her name was Tanjin — told us that our room had been given away because a girls’ soccer team was allowed to check out late (around 5:30 PM), and another incoming Kansas football team was being prioritized. She mentioned she had “given up” several rooms, including ours. To make matters worse, we were only notified by email after we were already halfway into a six-hour drive. I hate phone calls but this situation deserves one. When we arrived, the general manager was completely unprofessional. She talked down to us, raised her voice, and was overall rude and dismissive. It was honestly one of the worst front-desk experiences I’ve had with Hilton. From a human perspective this person has no business running a people oriented business. Overall seems to be someone drunk on power.
