- CFClifford FDec 19, 20252.0Overall it's better than a motel 6 but there were some serious issues with this hotel. The good: We were warmly welcomed. We checked in quickly. Parking was good. Warm cinnamon rolls at breakfast. The bad: Cleaning crew was still at the hotel at 8:00 PM and they were loud. We heard a series of banging in the other room while they were working. They also left a bottle of glass cleaner on the floor at the end of the hallway. Their cleaning cart was also blocking the entrance to our room when we got there. The toilet flush handle was not connected to the float. We had to lift off the back of the toilet and lift the float directly in order to flush. A lot of the grout in the tile floor in the bathroom was gone. Overall a very disappointing effort from the IHG brand with this hotel.

We were given a room on the first floor and I thought it would be noisy but I slept through the night without being disturbed. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the room was clean. The only drawback I can share is that the towels seem old and not as soft as I expected. The breakfast food tasted good too, and the lady serving there was nice as she kept refilling the trays with food. I will stay here again.

In fact, I left my pillow here on my way to New Mexico and they saved it for me and I got it on my way back. The room was super clean both times and I checked in really late at night both times and the service was fantastic. Great value for this hotel. The only thing I didn't like was somebody knocking on my door when I clearly had the DND sign out, asking if I was going to check out at noon. The sign is there for a reason. I drove all night and was getting some extra sleep for another 8 hour drive ahead. I get it if it's past noon and Im not out yet, but this was not the case (I checked out at 11:55).
