Absolutely Outstanding Stay – The Best on Our Entire Road Trip! From the very first moment we arrived at the Hilton Garden Inn in Lubbock, we were welcomed with genuine kindness at the reception. As Diamond members, we really appreciated the dedicated parking close to the entrance — such a thoughtful touch! Despite the evening rush and the fact that the cook was working alone, the service was incredibly fast and efficient. Our dinner was simply perfect: the burger was cooked exactly as ordered, the salad was fresh with high-quality ingredients, and the flatbread was loaded generously with toppings. Nothing was spared, everything was delicious, and the entire meal was flawless. Although the absence of a pool is a small downside, we can honestly say that nowhere else on our long road trip did we receive service as attentive as here. The handwritten, personalized birthday greeting was an especially heartwarming surprise — not even other Hilton or Conrad properties offered such a thoughtful gesture. I truly recommend that every GM from Los Angeles to Las Vegas learn from this hotel! Thank you for doing your work with such dedication — small gestures truly made our day shine. The entire staff worked with kindness, precision, and remarkable speed. I was happy to thank the cook personally for the wonderful dinner, but I would like to extend my gratitude to everyone: the housekeeping team, the two receptionists (late and morning), and the two servers (dinner and bfast). Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, smiling, and professional. Even the team working behind the scenes contributed to making our stay unforgettable. Out of the 18 Hilton properties we visited during our trip, this was by far the best experience — even better than some Conrad or main Hilton locations. Thank you so much to the whole team for making our stay truly memorable! Really appreciated!!! 🥰

We came to visit a friend that was in town, and the service from bar and restaurant was amazing! Our waitress, bartender and photographer was just rocking the place by herself with a smile like she enjoyed her job!!! Will definitely come back for dinner anytime!!!

Exceptional service from Gene at Front Desk. Two rooms, one mobility, one regular. Unfortunately rooms not on same floor. Rooms clean, beds & pillows very comfortable. Shower nice. Personal care items; shampoo, body wash, lotion were of high quality. Will definitely stay here again.

I would not stay here again. Pros: Hotel was quiet. Staff was jolly and eager to please. Close to TCU, but so are most things in Lubbock. Close to interstates and middle class shopping and eateries (Target, etc.). No pests. Cons: Hotel was behind a Super 8 hotel and atmosphere matched that. Hotel neighbor on the other side was a boxing club. In an industrial area. Rooms were dirty. Mold all over shower floor, a foot up the wall, and all over bathroom floor. Mildew as well. Textiles smelled heavily of wet dog. Found bloody boogers and possibly poo? (IDK there were black crusty spots) on sheets. Mattresses, pillows, and all towels smelled heavily of wet dog. We had two rooms and both and had been liberally sprayed with Lysol but not cleaned. Easily the nastiest hotel we've stayed in nearly a decade and will not be returning. We went to target and got shower shoes and cleaning materials. I cleaned the shower three times before using it and it got noticeably cleaner - tiles changed color a bit and it killed some of the black mold. Inside of the trashcans were crusty with old coffee, food, or something. I tried cleaning that as well but just not worth it. Shower head barely put out water. Water smelled like sewage. Bathroom floor was super sticky like it had been mopped with koolaid. We did not notify the front desk because if they cared this little over prolonged time about cleaning, what would they actually do that I couldn't do better for myself and family? We will never consider staying here again and I would recommend Hilton review whether they want to continue associating their name with this location. Wish I had gotten photos BEFORE I cleaned. And yes, this was about as clean as I could get it with bathroom scrub and a towel without spending hours with real cleaning materials.
