    Little to no help! I've spent the past 5 years booking with Hilton, and this hotel could not help with a simple mistake like other Hilton hotels have in the past. I'm a diamond member and usually complete virtual check-in over the app. I found out the day of my arrival that I made a mistake and needed to cancel my reservation to be with my family in a different hotel. Usually Hilton member services are helpful, flexible and understanding, but in my case the hotel customer service was dismissive and misleading. They had lied about not being able to modify my reservation to accommodate my situation. The customer care team of this hotel is enough to keep me from booking here for a long time.

    I would not choose to stay at this hotel again. When I walked in I had to pull luggage carts out of the entrance area to get into the lobby. You can immediately smell mildew when you walk in. The guy at reception looked a bit rough, but was very polite and professional. The halls look terrible and smell bad, as well. The carpets look like cattle had walked across them. The carpet in the room was run down and shiny from wear. The bathroom had chipped paint and the toilet was stained. They had the reusable shampoo and soap dispensers that are connected to the wall and they were pretty gross. The insert for the coffee maker didn’t fit so I had to hold it while the coffee brewed. When I went to check out there was no one there. There was a lady putting breakfast out, but she said the receptionist left and the relief didn’t show for work. She didn’t know how to check me out and I needed a receipt. Hopefully it gets emailed to me. I told her this is one of the dirtiest hotels I’ve stayed in and she stated that people tell her that all the time. She was a nice lady though and I could tell she was frustrated. I called and had my credit card turned off and replaced as soon as I left because it all just seemed sketchy. I have heard that Hampton Inns are not as nice as the Hampton Suites and I guess it’s true. Lesson learned.

    Disappointing experience. Room smelled like cigarettes. Not clean. Ice machine not working. Bathroom not inviting. Sink didn’t work correctly. AC was extremely loud so unable to use. Overall, not a good experience.

    3rd. Floor rooms elevator not working. Got in shower and learned the bottle of shower gel and shampoo was empty. Called receptionist she said if had time she would bring some, never did. 9:30 hardly anything left for breakfast.

    Subject: Request for Full Refund Under Hampton 100% Guarantee Dear Hampton Team, I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay at your Lubbock location. Upon checkout, I requested follow-up communication, but unfortunately, no one has reached out to me. This property did not meet Hampton brand standards. Initially, I was placed in a room that smelled strongly of smoke. After being moved, the second room presented multiple maintenance issues—none of the lights were functional, and the hot tub, which was the primary reason I booked this room, was completely drained and unusable. Additionally, the breakfast offered was far below Hampton expectations. The options were extremely limited and of poor quality, unlike the consistent and enjoyable experiences I had at other Hampton properties across Texas during this trip. We were traveling from Colorado to San Antonio for a wedding, and every other Hampton we stayed at was beautiful and comfortable. This location was the sole exception. As the Assistant Manager of another Hampton property in Colorado, I was especially disappointed to see such a lack of quality and care.
