She acknowledged it when I arrived; she asked the question I've asked many times, "What's the point of asking for preferences if you're not going to honor them?" Exactly; I let her know I wished more hotels did the same. I quoted a favorite line from the old movie Remember the Titans, "Attitude reflects leadership." Excellent job! The room was neat and clean and serviced the next day (a pleasant surprise for my wife and me in a time when daily service seems to have vanished)! The breakfast, though all microwaveable, was the best I've seen from Holiday Inn Express: biscuits and sausage gravy, bacon and sausage, scrambled eggs, two kinds of microwave omelets, potatoes, cereal, pastries and pancakes, coffee, milk and juices! Excellent!
