    There are only 2 IHG hotels in this area and I tend to stay at this location because I dont want my company to pay the higher rate for Staybridge. I've stayed here for years and now they are starting to give me a hassle when checking in. My company pays for the room and they handle scheduling the room and getting the room rate and reservation. When I check in, I'm asked for a government ID which I don't have since my company is a contractor for the government. I dont handle the reservation, so I'm not sure why they don't get that taken care of during the scheduling. My company gives the payment for the amount they offer and when I check in, they raise it up to where the payment will be rejected at the higher rate. This is the only IHG hotel that gives me this problem, and I've stayed in hotels all over the state of Texas as well as in Arkansas, Louisiana, and Florida. This hassle isn't worth it so I will no longer be staying here. The rooms themselves are fair, clean enough and all. The staff is OK, just the management seems to be confused. There's been construction outside for months, but the location is decent with enough restaurants close by. But I will be staying at staybridge from here on out.

    A very satified and happy Platinum elite member here! ProS: 1) my platinum status was valued, upgrade was immediately offered. 2) hotel has a modern, homey feel. I’d love to take the king suite ‘coz of the space, but it doesnt have the double bed, only a king bed and a pull out couch in the living area. 3) breakfast has plenty of choices, server is very attentive and friendly. 4) a fitness center, pool, etc available on-site. 5) last minute necessities were made available upon request ie. shaver, toothbrush etc 😅😅 Cons: NONE

    Very nice hotel, clean and fresh feeling close to the Laredo airport and many restaurants.

    Overall, a great location surrounded by excellent restaurants. My only hiccup with this property is the TV size—it’s a 32-inch, which makes it a bit of a struggle to watch comfortably from the bed.
