I loved the room, totally I would stay there again 🫶🏻

Tired and needing rest, I accepted. I joined the IHG One Rewards program at check-in, expecting better service. When we got to the room, there was a bug on the bed, dirty utensils, and a broken shower head. Reported everything to the front desk that night and was told the manager would follow up in the morning. At checkout, I was told since I received a “discount,” all I would get was 5,000 loyalty points — no real apology or accountability. I later confirmed myself that most area hotels were booked with group events, which likely explains the high rate — but leisure guests shouldn’t be treated like second-class customers. We often pay more and deserve clean rooms and real hospitality. This stay felt dismissive and unprofessional. IHG should take a closer look at how this property handles individual guests.
