When we checked out, the front desk employee refused to return our deposit, claiming the room smelled like smoke. However, we had already complained—along with others—about the strong smell of weed smoke in the rooms and hallways throughout our stay. What concerns us most is that the situation did not feel honest. Based on how it was handled, we left with the impression that certain staff members may not be properly documenting or returning guest deposits. Whether that’s the front desk, housekeeping, or both, it feels like something is not being handled transparently. Because of this experience and the lack of fairness and professionalism, we will not be staying at this hotel again.

My son has Autism and is very particular about food. I brought back up but he wanted a chocolate muffin so bad and the attendant pointed out chocolate chips for the yogurt to try to help me out. Everyone was just friendly. I was nervous that we had a first floor room by the elevator, but it was so quiet. I like that there were trees and bushes by the windows to help block road noise. Everything was clean. Probably one of the best experiences I have had at Best Western.
