    I have changed my review from 3 to 5 I made a mistake and I am correcting it. The stay was pleasant and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.

    Booked two rooms, and had to add an additional night onto one of the rooms. Hotel was very clean, breakfast was well stocked, and everyone seemed very nice at the time we were there. Upon reviewing my credit card statement, I noticed a double charge for the additional night on my card. I contacted the front desk of the hotel, and the desk clerk was very curt with me, repeatedly asked me the same questions and assumed I didn't know what a double charge looked like on my statement. I explained to her multiple times that there was a charge at 2:22 am, and then another charge at 2:28 am. Her final statement of "well there is only one charge on my end" made it very clear she was done with the conversation. If it wasn't for her, I would have rated the service at 5 stars. This is the only way I am able to respond to the The Hampton Inns comments on my review. They are partially correct when they state the room was booked through a 3rd party site. But I paid for the room directly at the Hotel. They charged my card twice $182.78, once @ 2:22 am, and then again @ 2:28 am. Incidentals were purchased from their Treat Shop - but NOT $182.78 worth, and NOT at 2:28 am. And if they were thorough enough to review their records, they would see the incidentals purchased were significantly LESS than $182.78, and were purchased at a different time. BE CAREFUL if you choose to stay at this hotel. WATCH the charges on your card, as they are not careful when running the card! They obviously don't care to take the time to ensure they correct THEIR mistakes! This is such a hassle.
