We traveled from out of town, visiting Houston. Traveled an extra hour to Kemah Boardwalk arriving at 6:00 PM on a Friday with the specific plan to ride the Beast speedboat. Upon arrival, we were told the ride was out on its last ride for the day and had shut down early due to a lack of customers. However, my family and I were present and ready to ride—we too were customers ready to pay for the ride.
The situation was handled poorly. When I asked to speak with a manager, she simply said, “Sorry, come back tomorrow,” with no effort to resolve the issue. I asked to speak with the captain, and waited till the boat returned, only to receive the same dismissive response. Both interactions lacked professionalism and basic customer care.
At the very least, some form of accommodation or compensation could have been offered to acknowledge the inconvenience, especially given that we made the trip specifically for this experience.
I will not be returning and cannot recommend this attraction to others. It was a waste of time.

An unforgettable experience! My visit to the theme park was amazing, but the Boardwalk Bullet was on a whole different level. The slow climb at the beginning was breathtaking, and the sudden drop combined with high speed gave me an incredible adrenaline rush. The track design and the loops were expertly crafted and felt very safe. If you're a fan of thrills and excitement, this ride should be your first stop!"

Loved the rides. Good Food places and options.Beware of the custom T-shirt Airbrush stall is a scam. They can’t make what you want like the pictures all over the shop. I spent 31 bucks on a shirt and they couldn’t even do it close to the image. I was disappointed and asked to Redo it, second time they didn’t complete it and they had changed shifts. This is a scam stall beware

Went to the stingray exhibit about 40 minutes ago. And the young guy working there, Robert, motioned the other white people behind me and my daughters to go next to his register. When I asked him why he motioned for the people behind me to go next, he had no answer. And after a long moment, he just said "sorry about that" nonchalantly. When I told the manager (another young white guy) Thomas, he just said "okay". And then I told him how the other guy was treating me seemingly racist by calling the white family ahead of me when I was next in line. The manager started smiling like it was a funny, non-serious situation where the other employee is giving unfair privilege to white customers . I told him "that's nothing to smile about." Then he offered for me to get in free ONLY after I read his name tag, but I declined as I didn't feel comfortable there after the treatment from both of them.

We stayed at the Boardwalk Inn and had a great overall experience. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff was incredibly sweet and welcoming. The lobby smelled amazing and immediately gave off a relaxing beach vacation vibe with its colors and atmosphere.
Our room overlooked the boardwalk, and we really enjoyed sitting on the balcony listening to music before heading out for dinner. After looking over several menus, we chose Landry’s and were very happy with our decision. We were seated right away by the water, and our waitress was friendly and efficient. My husband had the filet and was very pleased, and I had the almond-crusted mahi mahi, which was absolutely perfect.
One thing to note—the room does get a bit noisy in the morning. The birds are especially loud, but it didn’t bother us since we were planning to get up early anyway.
For breakfast, we went next door to the Bayside Grill. It’s more of a cafeteria-style setup. The food was decent, but unfortunately, the employee behind the counter wasn’t very welcoming, which started the morning off on the wrong note.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!
