Room was clean except for some hairs in the shower area. Carpet and surfaces were clean. Hotel is old but has been renovated somewhat recently. It was pretty quiet in the room and front desk was fine for the 3 min interaction to get keys. Parking lot seemed safe.

Where do I even begin? We stayed as a hockey organization. Ronnie was the worst possible human being I’ve ever dealt with at any hotel (and I mean that globally). It began with confusion regarding what specific types of rooms we booked and went downhill from there. Ronnie clearly hates children and really hates families. From telling parents they couldn’t even heat up meal prep and consume it in the lobby, to telling us our kids could not play quietly with parent supervision in the common area. No mini sticks. No board games. To parents sitting down as we always do to relax, talk quietly and have a few beers. Ronnie became super combative and argumentative with parents after he told them they couldn’t have any form of outside alcohol or outside beverages. When I attempted to get the kids up and out of the area, there was a few left picking up their foam balls. Ronnie came and threatened to call the police on us and have us removed from the hotel. While this was unfolding because he was so disturbed over a toddler and a preschooler not moving fast enough, another one in our party had a clogged toilet which was flooding their room. Ronnie dismissed this and said he felt our presence was more important. Then, someone not in our group vomited on the second floor and no clean up effort was made for a while as he was so focused on our group. He refused to let our team use any meeting room, conference room, or even the empty fitness center. Why accept multiple hockey teams if you hate kids and your expectations are that they remain in their own rooms and out of sight? He then filed a complaint to our organization and lied and said that our group was drunk and belligerent. Odd considering all of us attempted to open our first beers and he had us all under threat of law enforcement interventions and most of us left and went upstairs as it was so unpleasant we felt welcomed nowhere, and our kids were upset. None of the above has ever been a problem in the Marriott chain. We are treated warmly and kindly. This is coupled by the fact that my deluxe suite had one single towel, a half used roll of toilet paper, and it was dirty. Followed by the fact that we were supposed to have a team breakfast which they didn’t provide and said we didn’t have one. They have zero coffee available unless you want to pay $4 for a small cup of stale old coffee that’s been sitting in their machine all night or pay $19 for their breakfast and get it there. This particular employee is so bad and unpleasant, for the first time I had to contact my brother who’s an executive with Hilton. None of the above is something he said was normal or a part of any standard Hilton policy. He was horrified as well. We will never be staying here again and do not recommend this to any sports teams or youth groups. Not ever. Ronnie’s behavior statements and conduct demonstrated he really hates kids and didn’t seem to calm down until all kids were gone and upstairs in their rooms which made for a horrific weekend at best. What’s worse is Ronnie is a liar and there were far too many witnesses to disprove his false allegations and defamation. Nightmare just doesn’t say enough about this “experience”. If there were a way to give this all zero stars I would.

It needs better cleaning, especially in the beds and bathrooms. The air conditioning is very noisy, they don't have smart TVs, the TVs are very old, and the coffee is of poor quality. None of this makes sense for the price of $150 per room plus taxes. Furthermore, they didn't honor my loyalty membership. I use these hotels several times a month, and this time they didn't take my membership into account. They simply said that being an honor member doesn't matter if you arrive without a prior reservation.
