Worst hotel experience EVER. Will NEVER return. Hotel experienced a full staff turnover 2 weeks prior to my event and instead of calling and being upfront honest about it, they kept transferring me to an unanswered voicemail. When people complained about things (no water in hotel for hours, horrible stench) they called the police and told us they decided to cancel over 60 reservations at 2am and our banquet for 120 people less than 24 hours before our event. They promised a full refund but we were stuck at 3am trying to get new rooms. We had people that flew in from over 5 states and they showed no empathy when asked if we could check out at noon the next day as we had a few elder members in bed. The hotel was not equipped to handle our party and made up an excuse for us to leave. We are still awaiting our full refunds. Pinto and Sabu are the only great things at the hotel.

We got moved 3 times because of the AC not working and night front desk crew not sending up maintenance after waiting an hour for them we finally just went to sleep because it was 11:30pm at this point. Finally the next morning the front desk immediately sent up maintenance to fix the AC. Shower would not turn off, it had a steady stream. Breakfast and breakfast staff were awesome! Upon leaving, we did notice the Room had mold in it. Phones also did not work in any of the 3 rooms so we had to go downstairs to the front desk every time.

Have tried to get a hold of management for weeks. The hotel did not have heating in their hotel. Talked to several other guests with kids who also did not have heating. Not sure why they didn't tell us before checking in. They have NOT tried to refund us for our stay. Terrible hotel and customer service.

As a Hilton honors member, I’ve stayed at several Hilton hotel and specifically Embassy Suite hotels because I love their breakfast, various services, their staff (most of the time), and their social hour perk.
I’m typically not a reviewer because the quality you get at an embassy suite hotel is typically top notch. However, this stay was met well be low our expectations. With a vacation planned to Dallas, we checked out Embassy Suite hotels near our planned outings, and that happened to be the one by DFW Airport.
First night was a disaster, after unpacking and heading right to the pool, after a long drive with cramped kids, that didn’t last long as about 5 mins in my eyes began to burn like I’ve never experienced before (and I swim a lot). The pool didn’t have a strong chlorine smell so I have no idea what that was about but my eyes were blood shot red and burned for over an hour after I got out.
Headed back to the room to rinse eyes out in a shower, just to find the shower curtain rod was broken and the curtain wouldn’t close. After finishing a shower and cleaning up the water the didn’t stay inside, I noticed our bed had a large stain in it, and didn’t look like the sheets had been turned over and an unknown pill laying on the floor beside the bed. We didn’t bring any pills… then began to notice just how out of date everything was. This isn’t something I’ve seen before from this brand hotel.
Went downstairs to talk to staff and front desk employee Tarren was great. He don’t even hear the list of issues, he literally just heard me say the shower curtain rod, and immediately changed my room. Shout out to him, he was the 4 star of my stay however.
Then we got into our other room… the room smelled like old cigarette smoke, but at this time we were too tired to care. Beds were clean and that all that mattered at that point. In the morning however we noticed more of the out dated and just unkept conditions of the room, and just settled on this being the quality of this particular hotel. Old 1970’s rusted fire suppressant system sprinklers, loose fitting shower head pipe (could literally fit fingers behind the shower head), old hard water stains on each faucet, tv was antenna based viewing so no telling what you’re watching and had to change multiple channels to get a station to work, and the bar area sink wouldn’t drain. We were Not willing to change hotels, at this point… so we settled for our two night stay and just will be making this as a place we won’t come back to.
*saw two other families leave the pool area in the two night stay with crying kids burning eyes.
