  Dirty rooms- I wouldn’t have stayed but needed to use the charging station and prepaid for the room. Didn’t want to touch anything in the rooms- nothings updated-don’t stay here- there has to be better options in Huntsville

  Came by and stayed at this "fine establishment" one night. Check out is at 11am. It was 10am when the housekeeper tried to enter my room without announcing themselves or knocking. Good the the security latch was on.

  If I could leave 0 stars I would. We booked this hotel around midnight. Got to the hotel around 2/3am and the reservation could not be found. Many minutes later it was explained that the person working the front desk canceled our reservation and that the hotel would make a new one for us, at a higher rate- gave us the information for hotel manager Michael Wilson to contact in the morning to get refunded. 2 months later and I still have both charges on my credit card. I have emailed Michael multiple times and called the hotel only to be hung up on multiple times and with no email reply. I do believe they are screening phone calls. I called IHG who is over holiday inn who also explained they have no power to issue a refund, only the hotel themselves can. Multiple people I have spoke to at IHG claim they have called the hotel directly and also are hung up on. They then stated they faxed the request to the hotel general manager Nakia guzman, stating this is all they can do. They had no phone number to provide me for this person or any information on when I should hear back. I have ZERO plans to stay at a holiday inn again, or do business with any IHG affiliated corporation again. Double charging customers, at higher rates at that, is fraud and the customer service is well below par. IHG has zero power over their hotels and are unable to do anything to provide any help for dispute concerns. UPDATE: Thank you for the response, however it has now been over a week since this reply was posted and no one has contacted me. There has been no phone call, no email, and no follow-up of any kind. At this point, I’ve been patient for over two months trying to resolve a double charge that should have never happened in the first place. Public apologies and statements about escalation mean nothing without action. If this truly has been escalated and is being actively reviewed, I expect direct contact and a resolution, not another generic response. This situation remains unresolved, and the lack of follow-through only reinforces the concerns in my original review.

  Staff very friendly. Rooms very clean, bed very comfortable, bathroom clean. Very low water pressure, no hot water,Internet just bad.

  ***DO NOT STAY HERE*** To start off the first room we walked into the AC was making a horrible noise. Luckily they had another room available. Much better when it came to the AC being quiet. Gotta have that being a light sleeper. In the new room the bathroom door would not close unless you gave it a lot of force and would stick really bad. Now when it came to the bed, you would be better off sleeping on the floor in a sleeping bag. The bed was EXTREMELY HARD and UNCOMFORTABLE. The worst bed I have ever slept on when staying at a Holiday Inn. For the owners, you need to do better and buy better quality beds. It is the whole point of someone coming to your hotel for the night. To get a good night's rest!!!!! Clearly not at this Holiday Inn. We will definitely be choosing a different hotel for our next stay when in town.
