The front desk young man was super helpful and friendly. He was the only good thing about our stay here. We stayed one night when we came to visit our daughter at college. The first room had roaches and the second room was so dirty. Wall floor doors and carpet all was dirty and stinky.

When I first reported the bugs after being treated like it wasn’t a concern or that they were concern and all that was said was “do you want new room or something”
There was a cockroach that was alive in my room. I reported it and it made they made it seem like it wasn’t an issue. I was in a handicap room when I’m not handicap and I did a further search of the room to ensure there wasn’t more bugs. Which led to documenting with photos of lack of cleanliness that wasn’t done prior to checking in. Furniture with damages mold in ac unit lack of cleaning in areas of the room stains on curtains condition of the walls.
It was not Worth $110 a night I’m not asking for an immaculate room but at least the bare minimum to be done
Their solution was to take $20 off the bill and when discussing it with corporate of the incident, they will only refund you and points, but after this experience who would use the point to go back to that hotel.

Our stay was okay overall for 1 night, but the room had a noticeable musty odor upon arrival that made the air feel damp and uncomfortable. My husband thought he saw mold in the fridge, and I noticed what looked like some near the tub as well. The air quality didn’t feel great, which made it difficult to relax. On a positive note, the breakfast was decent and the staff were courteous, but the cleanliness and air freshness of the room definitely needs improvement.

Booked to attend FAMILY day at SHSU. I called ahead knowing I'd be checking in late to inform them and was told I'm good. After driving 4 1/2 hours, I arrive to find out no rooms...PERIOD! The excuse give was the man was new, and he called everyone to inform them which obviously wasn't followed up on true because here I was. The young man nonchalantly said there was NOTHING he could do. I pleaded with him as I had my young son in tow, and asked about him calling so I may speak with the general manager and all the contact info. I went to my car to call corporate office and upon returning from communicating with them by text, the man told me he had" just canceled" my reservation for the room the hotel hadn't saved for me. As I sat there trying to figure what to do. He checked in 2 families (and yes I watched the differencesin his interaction with them) while I stood watch! His reasoning, they had a smaller room, this after just informing me they had NO ROOMS. I asked if he was going to at least attempt to help and he stated he contacted the hote 30 miles down the road, but I would have to pay "their" price. He didn't allow for verification of an available room before he hung up with me sitting in front of him. So at this point, causing the undue stress to my son, I called the other hotel to which whatever was told to the man on the line at the other hotel, he gave much attitude but said he "may" have a room at a much higher cost. So with my son, who cried himself to sleep, here I sit in my car, in front of the only hotel with 2 available rooms after moving from the first 2 seemingly pest infected, broken into rooms writing this review. As for being an IHG status member, I no longer with to stay at ANY of the facilities they off, and ward anyone against THIS particular hotel!
