  Stayed in three different hotels during this Houston TX trip and this Holiday inn is the worst. The only good thing for this hotel is close to the airport and they have airport shuttle. I attached a picture took from the room at 4 am. My room is facing a parking lot and those are the lights from the lot. They are too bright and the curtains are fixed at two sides! The light-blocking curtains can not be closed! There are two sets of electrical outlets in the bathroom and only one set is using the required GFCI. I think this is unsafe and against the law. Anyway, they are no power and the GFCI one can't be reset. I have been traveling for years, their HVAC system is the loudest so far. Worst, the vent is pointing to your head when you lying on the bed. Which genius design this? Talking about loudness. I have no idea why the bathroom sink faucet can give such loud noise. It generate so much resonance noises. Clearly the plumber who installed the duct and faucet was subpar. There are 4 LED lights on the bathroom mirror. Two of them are working, one is dead, and the last one will start blinking after minutes use. BTW, this hotel is not accessible if you don't have a car. Don't get fool by the maps, they don't even have a pavement to the nearby Shell convenient store. In a sense, I am lucky because I only need to stay in this hotel room for less than 10 hours.

  Bit disappointed with this place. Hotel is new, although it appears to have been built by cowboys (ironic, given we're in Texas). Pool was closed with a Government notice on the gate stating it has failed an inspection. Breakfast was $15.95 each and the selection/quality was appalling. I have stayed in a lot of IHG hotels and this is by far the worst breakfast I have ever experienced. Selection was very limited, the 'hot' food was cold, sausages were over salted. Even the complimentary breakfasts at Holiday Inn Expresses are way way better than this rubbish. The surrounding location is pretty much a construction site with very little within walking distance. There is a gas station/Burger King just up the road and it is within easy reach of George Bush Airport. On a positive side, despite the poor build quality, the hotel and rooms are nicely presented, and the airport shuttle guy is top notch.

  There are a ton of hotels that are $50-$100. This hotel is closer to $200 which is why I booked to try and ensure I got a little better stay. - Warm but not hot shower at night then again at 6:30am when I tried to use it. - Hot tub was maybe 80* - Gym was small but fine - Food at restaurant was not great, fries were good but cold - Draft beer was ice cold

  Todo muy bien, la ubicación en relación al aeropuerto es excelente, esta a 5 minutos del Car rental center. Tienen Shuttle al aeropuerto.

  Nice new property very close to IAH airport. Rooms are nice, new, and still fresh. There is an on-site restaurant. Room rates and dining are high for what you get. However, they are consistent with local market rates. This property loses a star over their unapologetic handling of airport shuttle services. You must call front office to initiate pick up and they won’t pick up at terminal E (international arrivals). The shuttle service is not available after 10pm. Shuttle service is prominently displayed during booking. Yet, the details are omitted. The shuttle and proximity to airport were the entire reason for booking this location.
