  Rooms were clean and the location was great for a concert at NRG Stadium. I booked and paid for our stay on hotels.com but I’ve been charged twice more on our card since we checked in and out. Our money has yet to be returned and I’ve already paid over a thousand dollars for a 2 night stay.

  The hotel is nice enough, located near the MD Anderson facilities with a shuttle. Staff was pleasant overall, the nicest, most helpful staff was the gentleman helping with breakfast. The treadmills were all broken, they would turn on but you couldn't adjust the speed or incline. The ellipticals were not great, one was out of service the other one should be. When I told the desk staff he cut me off before I could finish and said "I know, they go really slow." I didn't have the heart to inform him that it defeats the purpose of the machines. We ended up leaving a day early because there was a very large group of people checking in that were very loud, driving slingshots (lowered very loud motorcycle type vehicles). That seemed like it was going to be a lot of noise and chaos but when they started wheeling in luggage carts full of alcohol (I saw at least 2 full ones) and dropping/breaking bottles in the lobby, we decided we were going to move on for the night. There were a lot of guests staying at this location while getting treatment at MD Anderson ( including my mother) and I guess we expected the hotel staff to keep the clientele a little more under control, but I saw one of the managers cleaning up the mess of the broken bottle and basically hanging out with this group. It's unfortunate that the staff didn't seem to take control of the situation and I hope the guests that were there that night were not disturbed too much. We didn't want to take the chance.
