My stay was great from start to end, everything was great until I realized the day after I left that I left my brand new Apple Pencil in the room . Called to ask if they had seen it, the front desk Tracey said she’d check in their lost and found and would let me know. I never did get that call back and later called and I believe it was the same person I spoke to. She said yes the housekeeping manager said they never saw anything. She didn’t sound helpful or understanding at all, was so quick to say would there be anything else which was what made it even more disappointing. This was a lovely stay for me which has since turned sour

Previously, we had stayed at 2 other hotels in the area and Homewood Suites is the only one we'd return to. The room was incredible: very clean, well-stocked kitchen, spacious, comfortable, well-equipped, and everything functioned well, including the thermostat. The breakfast is great- good variety of options and delicious. I didn't use the laundry nor the fitness room. The TV was poor quality and had limited channels, but it was good enough. The shower was amazing. The ladies at the front desk were very nice. Unfortunately, I couldn't say the same for the remainder of the staff. Overall, they were unpleasant to interact with. I'd smile and get a frown in return. At breakfast once, they had started to clean it up 15 minutes prior to the set time for breakfast to end (9AM) and I asked if I could take something and the staff member scowled at me, stopped picking up the food, and walked away. So, other than a couple uncomfortable interactions with the staff, the hotel itself was great and we'll be returning if we ever find ourselves in the area again.
