just your average box hotel with no sound proofing. heard the dog next door running around, heard his collar, heard and understood every conversation in that room. upstairs from me was a guy on his phone constantly and running water all the time. hallway was very loud. i even knew when my dasher arrived because i heard him walking up to the door. heard the food set down on the carpet. wow. do not go here to sleep. bed was good. shower was not hot enough. videos are of talking and of water sounds. this guy is not doing anything out of the ordinary. it just isn't a sound proof space.

The rooms are nice and new. Helena at the front desk was so great and kind and accommodating during my entire stay, I really appreciated her friendliness. This location is wonderful, it’s close to the highway but you can’t hear the road.

We were passing through, headed back to the east coast. I found this hotel on the Hilton app and booked. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to find and the cleanliness of the hotel. Full kitchenette with a small stove top. HUGE lobby area. Unfortunately we missed breakfast. BUT the one thing that upset me was the $150 hold that was placed on my card for incidentals. We checked in at 1:30am and checked out at 11am. I wasn’t there long enough to fully enjoy the hotel. But it would’ve been nice to know that they hold that much on your card before booking. Most hotels hold a max of $75 so $150 for one night is extreme.

Extremely Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience!!!I had an awful experience at the Hilton Houston Memorial City that I would not wish on anyone. I originally tried to cancel my reservation due to a family emergency, but no one ever answered the phone. Since I couldn’t reach anyone, I decided to still come. I called ahead to reconfirm and let them know I would be checking in late, and I was told that was fine. This is Houston a busy city so arriving early morning shouldn’t have been an issue. My reservation was for two nights (1/9/26–1/11/26). When I arrived around 6 a.m., the manager refused to let me check in and claimed I was a “no call, no show,” even though I had already called and confirmed. I was told I would have to rebook entirely, which made no sense since I had already paid for two nights. I had to call customer service while standing in the lobby, exhausted and overwhelmed. After almost two hours of back and forth, they finally said they could transfer the reservation, but I had to pay a $150 deposit. That was fine — I expected a deposit — but the front desk agent then asked if the card was my boyfriend’s and if he was with me. That question felt completely inappropriate and unnecessary. At that point, I was crying in the lobby at 8 a.m. from the stress and anxiety. I didn’t get into my room until almost 9 a.m., with a headache and emotionally drained from the ordeal. The next day at checkout (12 p.m.), I called to ask if I could extend checkout briefly so I could get myself together. I was told they don’t allow extensions. By 12:30, I received a call saying I’d be charged $50 for being late. I agreed because I didn’t have the energy to argue anymore. I explained everything that happened at check-in, and the staff member said she was just following instructions, but she did allow me until 1 p.m. due to the issues I experienced. Overall, this stay was unnecessarily stressful, poorly handled, and lacked basic customer care and empathy. The communication failures, refusal to honor my reservation, and inappropriate questioning were unacceptable. I expected much better from a Hilton property. I would not recommend staying here.
